Abstract

Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN SUSKA RIAU) memiliki akses jaringan internet di beberapa Gedung yang telah terhubung dengan server. Fasilitas internet yang disediakan dapat diakses seluruh civitas akademik kampus, berupa Kabel LAN dan berbasis wireless. Namun pada ISP yang berbeda dari sebelumnya, dalam penggunaan jaringan internet kampus terkadang mahasiswa mengeluhkan tentang fasilitas internet yang ada, mulai dari internet yang lambat, tidak dapat tersambung ke internet, jaringan putus-putus, dan belum mencakup ke seluruh Gedung yang ada di lingkungan kampus Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besarnya kualitas layanan internet kampus, dilakukan penelitian QoS (Quality of Service) dengan parameter yang digunakan yaitu: troughput, delay, jitter, dan packetloss. Pengukuran parameter QoS menggunakan aplikasi wireshark  dilakukan pada setiap Gedung Fakultas yang telah terhubung dengan server kampus dengan rentang waktu pelayanan jam sibuk dan jam sepi setiap harinya pada jam kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas jaringan internet kampus Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau secara keseluruhan dengan kategori Bagus menurut standar ETSI.

Abstract

Broiler chicken farming is one sector that contributes to playing an important role in causing an increase in the quality of life of the community, especially in fulfilling animal protein. Broiler chicken is a superior breed that has high meat productivity and a short reproductive cycle, thus encouraging the formation of partnerships between breeders and large companies. As the core, the company evaluates the success of breeders as seen from the performance index or IP value. The attributes that affect the IP value are depletion, average harvest weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and harvest age. The purpose of this research is to find out the attributes that most influence the success rate of broiler production in Riau and to get the accuracy value of the decision tree model using the C4.5 algorithm. This study used 952 livestock production data in Riau divided by a ratio of 80% training data and 20% test data. This test produces a decision tree in which the FCR attribute is the root node with a gain value of 0.45 and is the attribute that most influences the success rate of broiler chicken production in Riau. Evaluation using the confusion matrix produces an accuracy value of 97.11%, a precision of 98.89%, a recall of 98.16%.

Abstract

Livestock is a crucial component of the Indonesian agriculture sector. One of the most widely practiced types of livestock farming is broiler chicken farming. The production of broiler chickens continues to increase due to the increasing consumption of broiler chickens. Presently, companies are facing an urgent requirement to support farmers, regardless of their level of experience, whether they are newly entering the sector or have been established for some time. Core companies encounter challenges in modeling the success rate of broiler chicken farmer production because of the vast quantity of data coming from collaborating farmers, which makes it arduous for the company to establish the success rate of broiler chicken production. Establishing the level of production success is very helpful in selecting the appropriate farmers to be guided, thus enabling accurate decision-making. A classification procedure utilizing data mining and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm is necessary to manage the growing volume of data. The study examined 927 livestock production data from Riau, where the data was divided into two sets, with 80% allocated for training and the remaining 20% for testing purposes. The findings of the confusion matrix analysis showed that the optimal result was achieved at k = 3, with an accuracy rate of 86.49%, precision of 75.00%, and recall of 70.21%.

Abstract

The use of the internet for learning activities for students aged 5-24 years is increasing rapidly from 33.98% in 2016 to 59.33% of students using the internet in 2020. Pekanbaru Labor Vocational School also uses internet network to support teaching and learning activities. The increasing performance in an internet network will increase the data traffic. The problem that arises is the length of time needed to access the internet so as to reduce learning productivity. QoS method is conducted in this research to analyze internet access speed and measure internet network performance in Pekanbaru Labor Vocational School. Based on the measurements taken, it can be seen that the throughput value obtained is an average throughput of 2191 Kbps, the delay value obtained is 5.70 ms, the packet loss value obtained is 1.3%, the jitter value obtained is 0.00854421ms. This value is the value of network speed measured using the QoS method by accessing several sites including www.youtube.com, www.detik.com and also the download speed. It can be concluded that referring to the TIPHON standard, the Quality of Service value obtained by SMK Labor Pekanbaru is classified as very good with an index of 4 and a percentage of 95-100%.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of the 4G internet network in Tuah Madani District using the Quality of Service (QoS) method which involves throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter parameters. Due to the high population level, the Tuah Madani sub-district has a densely populated area with a significant population. This causes the need for high internet services as well. The high population density can affect the quality of the network, where the density of the population and the large number of buildings can cause network performance to be less than optimal. The purpose of this study is to provide comprehensive information about the quality of the 4G internet network in Tuah Madani District and provide recommendations to the public to choose the best provider. Analysis of the quality of the 4G network was carried out in three urban villages with the largest population, namely West Sidomulyo Village, Tuah Karya Village, and Sialang Munggu Village. The results of the study in West Sidomulyo Village showed that Smartfren was the best provider with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category. The results of the study in the Tuah Karya Village showed that Telkomsel was the best provider with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category. The results of the study in the Sialang Munggu Village showed that Smartfren was the best provider in the Sialang Munggu Village with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, the quality of internet networks has become a crucial factor in everyday life, particularly in academic environments such as campuses. The quality of 4G internet networks is also essential for students and staff in carrying out educational activities, research, and communication. Therefore, measuring and analyzing internet networks is necessary to ensure that the utilized network does not hinder activities that require internet access. This study explores the quality of 4G internet networks provided by three major providers, Smartfren, Telkomsel, and XL Axiata, at the UIN Suska Riau campus. The method used is Quality of Service (QoS), which measures four main parameters: throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. This research aims to provide comprehensive information regarding the quality of 4G networks offered by each provider within the campus environment. The measurement data indicates that XL Axiata performs the best in terms of throughput, with an average speed of 3843.8125 kbps and a "Very Good" category rating. Telkomsel demonstrates the best performance in the packet loss parameter, with a packet loss percentage of 0.09375% and a "Very Good" category rating. Meanwhile, in the delay parameter, Telkomsel records the lowest waiting time at 7.03675 ms and a "Very Good" category. XL Axiata exhibits the best performance in the jitter parameter, with a value of 0.005436 ms and a "Very Good" category rating. Based on the TIPHON standardization, XL Axiata is assessed as the best provider with an average score of 4.00 and a "Very Good" category.

Abstract

The internet network can facilitate the learning process packaged in digital content. The use of the internet as a learning medium has become commonplace among students. With the internet as a learning resource, it is easier for us to access various sources of information. Therefore, it is necessary to measure and analyze the internet network to ensure that the network used does not hinder activities that require internet access. This research aims to analyze the performance of the internet service at the Islamic University of Indragiri using the Quality of Service (QoS) method. Measurements were conducted using the Wireshark application on 7 WiFi networks with 4 types of websites as testing targets. The four main parameters are throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The research results show that during peak hours, the throughput at campus 1 and campus 2 is relatively low with a value of index 2, while during off-peak hours, the throughput at both campuses is at index 4. Packet loss at campus 1 during peak and off-peak hours shows low numbers with index 4. However, at campus 2, there is an increase in packet loss during peak hours with index 4. During peak hours, the delay at campus 1 is at index 4, and the delay at campus 2 is at index 3. During off-peak hours, the delay at both campuses is at index 3 and 4. During peak and off-peak hours, the jitter at both campuses is at index 4. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the WiFi network at the Islamic University of Indragiri has good performance. However, better network management is needed to maintain optimal performance during peak hours.

Abstract

One of the most common uses of Internet technology is in the field of education. The utilization of the Internet in education has long been employed by SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan. This school utilizes internet connectivity as a tool and means to support the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the school must provide a reliable network service to ensure smooth learning experiences. This research aims to evaluate the quality of internet connectivity at SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan using the Quality of Service (QoS) method with parameters such as throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. The study also analyzes the internet quality in each department of SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan during peak and off-peak hours, involving both teachers and students as users. With a total of 1,307 users, the school utilizes an internet connection from an Indihome provider with a bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps. The test results indicate that the throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter values are rated at index 4, categorized as "Very Good." However, it is worth noting that the throughput value for student users in the Design Communication Visual and Computer Network Engineering departments is rated at index 2, categorized as "Fair." These findings provide valuable information and insights for the school to assess the quality of internet services at SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan in supporting teaching and learning activities. By addressing the identified issues, such as the lower throughput in specific departments, the school can take appropriate measures to enhance the internet infrastructure and improve the learning experience for students. This research serves as a valuable resource for the school administration to make informed decisions and improvements regarding the quality of internet connectivity, ultimately benefiting the teaching and learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan

Abstract

In April 2020, Shopee launched a delivery service known as ShopeeFood. This service has grown into a large service platform that is in demand by various age groups. Regarding the ShopeeFood phenomenon, the public provides feedback in the form of ratings and opinions on various social media, one of which is Twitter media. The steps taken to understand the perceptions or sentiments of the ShopeeFood community, data are collected through social media and analyzed using the Naive Bayes Classifier method with the Chi feature. Rectangle. Tweet data is retrieved via the Twitter API using key terms related to ShopeeFood. The dataset contains 1050 data divided into three sentiment classes: positive, negative and neutral. The test results use Chi Square on the Naive Bayes Classifier method with a test ratio of 90:10% and produces an accuracy value of 65.71%, a precision value of 95,00 %, and the recall value is 90,00% and the test results use TF-IDF with a test ratio of 90:10% and produce an accuracy value of 79.05%, a precision value of 95,00%, and a 90,00% recall value. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the TF-IDF feature gets higher accuracy than the Chi Square feature in the Naive Bayes Classifier method and is successful in classifying tweets with positive, negative, and neutral sentiments.

Abstract

Diabetes is closely related to the pancreas, where the pancreas produces the natural hormone insulin, but its function is problematic which causes an increase in blood sugar levels in the body. Rising blood pressure can affect organ function in damaging the function of organs in a person's body such as the kidneys, heart and brain. Where makes a person have a history of diabetes. Diabetes that attacks adults can be prevented through exercise and a regular and healthy diet. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) organization, it is estimated that at least 19.5 million Indonesian people between the ages of 20 and 79 will suffer from diabetes in 2021. China is in first place with diabetes with 140.9 million people. India is next in line with the number of people with diabetes of 74.2 million people. Therefore, early diagnosis is very important because it aims to reduce diabetes and diabetes complications in the future. It is necessary to collect data on patients with diabetes who are expected to be able to do prevention. Therefore applying classification techniques with data mining with the C4.5 algorithm. Where the classification can achieve better accuracy. Algorithm C4.5 is generally used in determining the nodes of a decision tree. Based on the test results, the accuracy is 76.67 percent, the precision is 72 percent, and the recall is 41.67 percent.
