Abstract

ABSTRACT The research objectives are; 1) to determine the effect of learning independence on mathematics learning achievement. 2) to determine the effect of logical intelligence on mathematics learning achievement. 3) to find out simultaneously the effect of learning independence and intelligence of students on mathematics learning achievement. 4) to find out the correlation between learning independence and student logic intelligence on Mathematics learning achievement. The method used is descriptive verification method with ex post facto and survey approaches. The instrument used was a questionnaire that was distributed to students. The results of the study are; 1) there is an influence of learning independence on Mathematics learning achievement.2) there is an influence of students' logic intelligence on Mathematics learning achievement.3) there is an influence of learning independence and intelligence of student logic on Mathematics learning achievement. 4) there is a correlation between learning independence and student logic intelligence on Mathematics learning achievement. Keywords: learning independence, logical intelligence,learning achievement of Mathematics ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah; 1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. 2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan logika terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika. 3) untuk mengetahui secara simultan pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan kecerdasaan logika siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika. 4) untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kemandirian belajar dan kecerdasan logika siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian adalah; 1) terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika.2) terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan logika siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika.3) terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan kecerdasaan logika siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika. 4) terdapat korelasi antara kemandirian belajar dan kecerdasan logika siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika. Kata kunci: Kemandirian Belajar, Kecerdasan logika, Prestasi Belajar Matematika.

Abstract

The influence of interest in English songs on students' listening skills at SMPN 1 Ciomas is the topic of this research. The goal of this study is to examine the impact that students' interest in English music has on their listening abilities in SMPN 1 Ciomas. This study is based on Slameto's (2010) theory that learning is more effective when it relates to students' interests. In order to analyze a specific population or sample for this study, the author employs a quantitative approach. Data are collected using research instruments, and data processing focus on quantitative/statistical analysis to test the hypotheses that have been set. Tests and questionnaires are employed as research tools. The population of this research is the students in SMPN 1 Ciomas, and the sample is the twelve grader students as many as 31 students. The data is analyzed using regression-correlation analysis. According to the study's findings, listening abilities and interest in English music are significantly positively correlated. Interest in English music has a 71.1% impact on listening abilities. In conclusion, persons who enjoy listening to English music engage in activities related to such songs on a regular basis, enjoying the good feelings that come along with them while also learning new things. This information aids listeners in comprehending what they are hearing. Additionally, since people's attention is enhanced by personal interest, which makes listening more effective, this interest also aids in the listening process.
