Abstract

The purpose of the study is to reveal the effect of physical fitness, psychological aspects, and active lifestyles on work productivity. The research uses descriptive methods. Through the purposive sampling method, it is obtained samples of 123 students. The instruments used are the self-evaluation format, physical fitness test, psychological test results, and semester report scores. The statistical approach used is multiple regression analysis. Based on data processing the results are as follows: The effect of an active lifestyle on work productivity of 0.0108% shows a very low influence, the effect of physical fitness on work productivity of 19.3% shows the influence on the low category, and the influence of psychological aspects on work productivity of 0.408% shows a very low influence. This study shows that there is no significant relationship between active lifestyle, psychological aspect, and work productivity, and there is a significant relationship between physical fitness and work productivity. The recommendation of this study is that Polman should pay attention to the level of physical fitness of its students in the process of completing academic programs in Polman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif atas pengolahan statistik data kuesioner melalui alat ukurSoft Competency Scale-Self Administrated Questionnaire (SCS-SAQ) terhadap sample responden mahasiswaprogram diploma 3 POLMAN Bandung. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat korelasi dimensi-dimensisoft skills yang terdiri dari: motivation, flexibility, willingness to learn, integrity, relationship building, teamwork& cooperation, leadership, dan communication skill dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa.Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa POLMAN Bandung tingkat III sebanyak 72 orang. Padapenelitian ini, jawaban kuesioner menggunakan skala Osborn dengan empat rentang pilihan mulai darisangat setuju, setuju, tidak setuju dan sangat tidak setuju. Metode penelitiannya adalah deduktif denganmetode pengumpulan data survei melalui kuesioner. Jenis penelitian Kausal Research Non Experimental,sedangkan tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe penelitian ex post facto dimana peneliti tidakmemberikan perlakuan tertentu terhadap subjek dalam penelitian, tetapi hanya mengamati sesuatuyang telah berlangsung. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan korelasi antara soft skills dengan Indeks PrestasiKumulatif mendapatkan nilai ? 0,170 yang dapat dikategorikan memiliki hubungan yang lemah danberdasarkan uji signifikansi hasil menunjukkan nilai 0,152 yang berarti korelasi kedua variabel tersebuttidak signifikan. Meskipun hasilnya terdapat hubungan yang lemah antara soft skills dan Indeks PrestasiKumulatif namun bukan berarti mengecilkan arti capaian nilai dari kedua variabel tersebut. Hal inidapat diartikan bahwa kegiatan pendidikan untuk pengembangan baik soft skills maupun hard skills yangterakumulasi dalam nilai IPK perlu diarahkan untuk sama-sama mendapatkan porsi yang sama, sehinggamahasiswa diharapkan mendapatkan prestasi akademik yang baik sekaligus sikap yang baik pula.

Abstract

Many corporations put high efforts in improving its personnel welfare through a career management by which employees may forecast their career opportunities in the future. Despite implemented merit system, the available job value data gainedfrom job analysis and evaluation have yet to be optimally utilized for determining employees? career path. This condition leads to weak work spirit and motivation on the part of the employees to provide their hardest efforts for the company due to unclear future career plan. Therefore, attempts need to be done to overcome the problem by using the available job value data for devising personnel career path. This may include two considerations, i.e. relative job value and cluster analysis result, which show proximity of factors and sub-factors among jobs having similarities. The result of this study is a proposition for a career path planfacilitating promotion or rotation from one job to another within or beyond a work unit. It can also be used as a base to post human resources on their right places.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to gain deep knowledge about the benefit of co-curricular program both team sport and individual sport and to find out the influencing factors in following co-curricular activity, as social skill reinforcement for intern students, so concept and strategy are acquired to create Human Resources who are professional, healthy physically and mentally to face the era of revolution 4.0. The study result shows that implementation of co-curricular in campus greatly affects student’s learning system when they do on -the- job training in apprentice location. Students can find new things that occur in social interaction such as relation among students, student with mentor, student with employee in apprentice place or inside campus so students have more ethics in learning and in daily social intercourse. The obstacles among others are students do not get mentor in campus who has guidance skill profession, mentor who has trouble to equalize problem with material and time limitation, infrastructure which is less conducive in the process of co-curricular program implementation.
