Abstract

ABSTRACT Rindu Famelia Sari, 2021. "The Influence of Work Environment, Work Motivation, and Work Period on Employee Performance at the Santa Clara Cooperative, Central Lampung". Thesis Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business. University of Muhammadiyah Metro. Supervisor (1) H. Suwarto, S.E., M.M. Supervisor (2) Nani Septiana, S.E., M.M. Santa Clara Cooperative Central Lampung is a business entity engaged in finance. In its operational activities, it requires workers who are competent, experienced in their fields, and have a commitment to their work. Therefore, it is very important to improve human resource management in an organization. Factors that affect employee performance are work environment factors, work motivation, and years of service. The formulation of the problem in this study are 1) Is there an influence between the work environment on employee performance? 2) Is there any influence between work motivation on employee performance? 3) Is there any influence between tenure on employee performance? 4) Is there any influence between work environment, work motivation, and tenure together on employee performance? This research was conducted at the Santa Clara Cooperative, Central Lampung, with a sampling technique using solvin to 41 respondents, namely employees at the Santa Clara Cooperative Lampung. By distributing questionnaires in the form of questions about the Work Environment, Work Motivation, and Work Period on Employee Performance. Then processed with SPSS version 21 with the classical assumption test approach with the methods of normality, linearity, homogeneity. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis, partial test, F test, determination to determine the effect of work environment, work motivation, and tenure on employee performance of the Santa Clara Cooperative, Central Lampung. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of the work environment on the performance of the Santa Clara Cooperative employees, the work environment is used for the process of improving the work atmosphere so that it is well established between employees at work. There is a positive and significant effect of work motivation on employee performance at the Santa Clara Cooperative, by providing work motivation to employees, employee performance will increase and be better. There is a positive and significant effect of tenure on employee performance, tenure is how long it takes to work to improve abilities and skills at work.
