Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of cyber teaching during the covid-19 pandemic, the threat of alienation experienced by students, and the solution. The method used is a qualitative method with the type of phenomenological research. The subjects of this study were students of Tadris Social Sciences Faculty of Tarbiyah IAIN Parepare. Data collection techniques are observation and interviews. The results show that cyber teaching offers efficiency and open access to information. However, it cannot be separated from negative affects, such as students think pragmatically, the occurrence of moral degradation, delinquency, and deviant acts. In addition, during the covid-19 pandemic, students spend a lot of time in front of the virtual world screen. This can alienate them. Disproportionate and assignments can lead students into a state of alienation. Students can become isolated figures both from themselves and their environment. They become figures who are not independent and not autonomous in learning. Therefore, humanist education is needed by making students active in the learning process. Keywords: alienation, Covid-19, cyber teaching, humanist education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the doctrine expectations of learning mathematics. Data was collected through testing, interviews, and documentation. Researchers have designed a virtual learning trajectory (HLT) based on examining the obstacles students face when learning mathematics. Next, a didactic design was developed from HLT. The method of doctrine was implemented, and the results showed that the situation of the three principles expected by researchers was the doctrine of scaffolding strategy. When determining values that correspond to a pattern of numbers, researchers want to learn lessons and provide instructions in the form of education to solve problems. The researcher's expectation of giving other examples of arithmetic progressions when choosing a definition and the arithmetic progression examples help students better understand collaborative learning. The value of the nth term and the sum of the first n math terms are sent to each shirt to confirm the work and interact directly.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) has disrupted conventional learning process. Therefore we need a solution to The challenge. Online learning is one alternative that can overcome the challenge. So this research was conducted to know and analyze students' learning results through online learning in mathematics with the subject of the Two-Variable Inequality System (SPtDV) class X MIPA 1. The method in this study is the descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The instrument used was the test instrument on the SPtDV material with a total of 5 essay questions. The research sample was 14 students of class X MIPA 1 one of the public high schools in Soppeng Regency. The results of this study were four students with high scores, six students with moderate grades, and four students with low scores. Achievement of the lowest percentage of material indicators according to the Level of Ability to Answer the Problems Correctly of Students in a row from high, medium, low, namely solving problems in the area of the settlement set on the SPtDV material. Overall, the achievement of student learning results got a good predicate.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of student errors and the factors that cause errors in class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Soppeng in solving math problems on statistics. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive research methodology approach. Data collection was carried out using written tests and interviews. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Soppeng taken by purposive sampling. The types of student error were classified according to the Newman procedure. The results of this study indicate that in solving mathematical problems, the research subjects make types of errors; reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skills errors, and encoding errors. The factors that cause student errors are poor network connection in looking for references to work on questions, unfamiliarity with online learning, lack of understanding of statistics submitted online, difficulty in the calculation part, lack of ability or not being used to writing things that are known and things those who are asked in the questions correctly, lack of practice working on practice questions related to statistics, do not like maths lessons, are in a hurry to work on the completion process. The solution to avoid or minimize the occurrence of these errors is to look for appropriate learning methods, look for references via the internet or from YouTube videos, students are actively practicing working on problem-solving types, practicing answering.

Abstract

The Merdeka curriculum promotes differentiated learning for diverse student learning styles. This research exploring implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and teachers' strategies and challenges in facilitating diverse student learning styles. The research method was qualitative and conducted at UPT SMA Negeri 4 Parepare. School principals, social science teachers, and students served as informants. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. Triangulation of methods and sources is used to obtain data validity. Analysis of the data followed Miles and Huberman's stages. The Merdeka Curriculum is not fully implemented at all grade levels, according to this research. Social science teachers use strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, such as identifying styles, using different methods, group learning, varied assessments, technology, reflection, and personalization. Teachers face the challenge of adapting various learning styles in the Merdeka Curriculum. Teachers should generate innovative ideas for the Pancasila Student Profile. Teachers need to prepare tools and materials for different learning styles. Teachers should understand the diversity of students' learning styles and become skilled facilitators in exploring their potential. The findings of this research offer strategies for teachers to implement the Merdeka Curriculum. Keywords: Differentiated learning; learning styles; teacher strategies; the Merdeka Curriculum.
