Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted to analyze the factors that affect employee engagement at Ibis Style Hotel Surabaya. The independent factors of   in this research were leadership (X1), work environment (X2), compensation (X3), training (X4), teamwork (X5) and employee engagement (Y). The data analysis technique used was multiple linier regression. The training variable had a negative relationship with employee engagement in the regression because it did not fulfill the requirement for the linearity test in classical assumption test. The result of this research showed that the independent variables significantly and simulaneously affected employee engagement. While teamwork was the only variable that significantly and partially affected employee engagement. Teamwork was also the most dominant variable that affected employee engagement.Â
