Abstract

Perkembangan zaman juga mempengaruhi perkembangan bahasa. Begitu pula dengan bahasa Arab yang mengalami perubahan dari zaman klasik hingga zaman modern. Perubahan bahasa Arab tersebut ditandai dengan munculnya teori-teori baru terhadap struktur kaidah bahasa Arab atau nahwu yang sudah ada. Salah seorang pembaharu bahasa Arab yang terkenal dengan pemikiran nahwu modernya adalah Tammam Hasan. Beliau mengkritik landasan penelitian nahwu klasik yang dipelopori oleh Imam Sibawaih karena beliaulah yang pertama kali merumuskan ilmu nahwu secara lengkap dan terperinci pada buku nahwu-nya yang fenomenal Al-Kitab. Kritik epistemologi nahwu inilah yang akan dibahas dalam artikel ini, sehingga tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mendeksripsikan epistemologi nahwu Imam Sibawaih berdasarkan pemikiran nahwu modern Tammam Hasan. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan jika dilihat dari tempat pengambilan data, penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kepustakaan atau library research. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang bertemakan tentang nahwu, ushul nahwi, metode sima’I, Imam Sibawaih, Tammam Hasan, dan metode nahwu modern. Hasil penelitian ini mendeksripsikan dua hal; pertama, tentang metode sima’i sebagai epistemologi nahwu klasik Imam Sibawaih, dan kedua, tentang kritik Tammam Hasan terhadap nahwu klasik Imam Sibawaih tersebut pada aspek berikut; 1) bahasa dan dialek, 2) masa bahasa, 3) riwayat bahasa, dan 4) qiyasi dan sima’i.. Kata Kunci: Epistemologi; Klasik; Modern; dan Nahwu

Abstract

Indonesian students are weak in critical thinking, as well as the curiosity of researchers about what strategies are suitable for improving speaking skills, this study aims to find a strategy using concept maps with several stages that will train students' skills in reading, vocabulary, write and speak. This study aims to describe the application of the concept map strategy and describe the obstacles faced by students, as well as solutions, as well as describe student perceptions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with case studies, which focus on learning at Malang State Universities and Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang, Indonesia. Data are collected by observation, interviews and documentation. As for the data analysis method, the researcher used the model according to Miles and Huberman, the data analysis technique consisted of data collection, condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are students' perceptions in implementing the strategy are divided into two, the beginning of application (aspects of mastery of the material, duration of time, habituation of learning and technology) and after application (aspects of vocabulary, compulsion, facilitating learning and psychological). concept map strategy trains students to think critically and speak systematically and learn independently.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the imla' material and the imla' learning process using Tracing the Dots, as well as the benefits of using this theory in overcoming problems that occur. This research was carried out because it departed from the problem of new students who could not write Arabic, while this material was the basic material for mastering maharah kitabah. Many of them made the wrong choice of letters when dictated and could not tell which letters were connected and which were not. This research is qualitative field research with a case study type. Methods of data collection by observing and interviewing. Technical data analysis in the form of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study explain that the process of teaching imla' at Ma'had Al-Izzah consists of 3 processes, namely letter recognition, connecting letters, and practicing Arabic writing. The material is taught by asking students to make the dotted line thicker so they practice a lot and get used to writing. With lots of practice, students learn without being burdened. They can also practice without being supervised by the teacher because the instructions and instructions are clear.
