Abstract

Latar belakang: Kegemukan menjadi salah satu masalah gizi di Indonesia. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kegemukan yaitu tingkat pengetahuan, tingkat konsumsi, dan aktivitas fisik. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan status gizi yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas V di SDN Kaliwungu 1 Jombang menggunakan penilaian IMT/U ditemukan sebanyak 14.28% gemuk, 25% obesitas, dan 60.7% dengan status gizi normal. Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan, tingkat konsumsi energi, dan aktivitas fisik sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan gizi seimbang dengan media komik pada siswa yang mengalami kegemukan di SDN Kaliwungu 1 Jombang sebagai tambahan pengetahuan Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Total sampel penelitian sebanyak 21 responden. Pengumpulan data tingkat konsumsi energi responden dengan melakukan recall 2x24 jam, tingkat pengetahuan dengan kuesioner gizi seimbang, dan aktivitas fisik dengan kuesioner Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C). Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Sample T Test jika data berdistribusi normal dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test. Hasil: Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test pengetahuan menunjukkan p=0.00 (p<0.05), tingkat konsumsi energi p=0.023 (p<0.05), dan aktivitas fisik p=0.060 (p<0.05) Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan untuk konsumsi energi responden sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan gizi seimbang dan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan untuk aktivitas fisik sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan gizi seimbang.

Abstract

School children usually have a habit of eating high calorie foods low in fiber, so it can be susceptible to disease. Elementary school children aged around 7 until 13 years is the second most rapid growth period after toddlers. At that age, discipline and awareness of children are still lacking in maintaining health, namely dental and oral health so vulnerable to caries in the teeth. One age group that often experience the disease problem is the elementary school age group. According to WHO or World Health Organization data, 2013 an increase in dental caries prevalence in the 12 year age group, i.e. 13.7 percent from 28.9 percent in 2007 rose to 42.6 percent in 2013. One way to reduce unhealthy snack habits in children is to provide nutritional education is interesting and easy to understand by children, so the role of educational media is very important, one of which is a comic. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of counseling by using comic media as a learning media to improve knowledge of balanced nutrition message or PGS on fourth grade students SDN KALIREJO 02 And SDN KALIREJO 03 Lawang Malang Regency. This research type is Pre Exprerimental with design of one group pretest post test design and executed from September to December 2017. The number of samples obtained according to inclusion criteria during the research period is 83 samples. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge. The result of statistical analysis on knowledge obtained p value equal 0,000 is smaller than 0,05. Based on the results of research, the provision of comics can increase knowledge about the habit of toothbrushing. Comic media dpaat accepted as slah one media in the process of nutrition pengajraan not only provide information about nutrition but also able to provide entertainment to students.

Abstract

Malang City is one of the autonomous regions and is the second big city in East Java after Surabaya City. Malang City is currently listed as the city with the second smallest poverty percentage in East Java after Batu City, which is 5.9 percent of the total population. Nutritional problems in Malang City have been presented in the Basic Health Research of East Java Province in 2013. The incidence of stunting in Malang City has increased from 2007 to 2013 by 22.3 – 29.6%. In the context of preventing the occurrence of Stunting Toddlers, mentoring will be carried out with Cadres who have been trained in the first stage of Community Service for pregnant women who have a history of and or are at risk of giving birth to short - very short toddlers. Provide assistance to pregnant women in order to prevent stunting in toddlers in Samaan Village, Kec. Lowokwaru in Malang City. Community service is carried out by providing assistance by cadres to pregnant women for 6 months in Samaan Village, Rampal Celaket Community Health Center. The age of pregnant women in the Rampal Celaket Health Center area based on the results of the questionnaire was <20 years totaling 2 (28.5%) people, 21-25 years old 2 (28.5%) people, 26-30 years old totaling 1 (14.2% ) people, and >40 years old amounted to 1 (14.2%) people. all pregnant women are ordinary housewives and family income <UMR as many as 7 people (100%). Pregnant women before education showed that the 7 mothers involved had a low level of knowledge. Most of the pregnant women have consumption levels of energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates which are included in the category of weight deficit (consumption rate <70%). A total of 57.1% (4 people) of pregnant women experienced Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK). There was an increase in knowledge of pregnant women about MPGRS, Balanced Nutrition, Exclusive Breastfeeding for toddlers, the accuracy of giving MP ASI to toddlers, Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS).
