Abstract

This research was motivated by the use of media in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe anxiety in the novel Women's Room by Agus Subakir and Beauty is Wounded by Eka Kurniawan in terms of form, causes, and implementation in Indonesian language learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, with a literature review approach. The data sources of this research are in the form of words, phrases, and sentences related to the implementation of Indonesian language learning contained in the two novels. Data collection techniques used reading and note-taking techniques. The results of this study indicate that both novels emphasize the desire to gain a sense of security, get out of anxiety, and find peace. Likewise with the implementation of Indonesian language learning which expects a conducive learning situation so that students feel safe and comfortable with the way the teacher does learning in class.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This purpose of this study is three. First, describing the discution of writing text for students of class IX in Junior High School Muhammadiya 1 Padang using the Think Pair Share cooperative model learning, describing the discution of writing text for students of class IX in Junior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Padang using the conventional model. Third, analyzing the effect of the use of  Think Pair Share cooperative model learning on the skills of writing discution text for students of class IX in Junior High School  Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with randomized two group design posttest only design experimental methods. There are three results of this study. First, the discution of writing text in IX  of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Padang using the Think Pair Share cooperative model learning is of good qualification (B) with an average value of 83,37 (above of minimal completeness criteria). Second, the discution of writing text in the IX  of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Padang using the conventional model with almost enough qualification (HC) with an average grade of 49,11 (under of minimal completeness criteria). Third, based on the t-test, H1 is accepted at the 95% confidence level and dk= (n1 as a numerator and n2 as denominator) because tcount>ttable (1.70 < 43.4679). Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share, Teks Diskusi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the implementation of an autonomous curriculum in language learning as an innovation in facing the Fourth Industrial Revolution.The research method used is online literature review. This research is descriptive qualitative because it takes the form of disclosing facts that are already known, which focuses on disclosing a problem and current situation. Triangulation is used as a data collection method, inductive reasoning is used in data analysis, and meaning rather than generalization is emphasized in qualitative research findings.The results of the study found that First, the industrial revolution 4.0 was formed by technological disruptions that changed needs in the education sector. This has triggered the need to update the 2013 curriculum given the progress and demands of the 21st century. One form of streamlining the 2013 curriculum is an autonomous curriculum. structure for learning recovery. Third, the use of ICT in education will enable independent curriculum integration in language acquisition to address issues of the fourth industrial revolution. Several types of information technology, including e-books, email, and social media, can be included in language learning.
