Abstract

The national floriculture industry will continue to grow, along with the interest and demand for ornamental plants by the public the author intends to design a tool in the field of communication technology by utilizing the Internet of Thing (IoT) Platform so that it can be monitored remotely by covering the cultivated land of tillandsia ornamental plants. Temperature and humidity data will be analyzed using a fuzzy algorithm. Then the system gives a callback to the actuator (relay on the water pump) to work so that the temperature and humidity reach the expected conditions stably so that the care and maintenance of tillandsia plants is optimal and maintains the water conditions of tillandsia plants. In this research, found results with an average error of 0.4% on the temperature sensor with 7 tests, 0.83% on the light sensor with 3 trials. This system has succeeded in monitoring and controlling the prototype of the IoT-based mini greenhouse condition that can monitor remotely and automatically manage the conditions of temperature, humidity, and water light intensity to remain stable, making it easier for cultivation managers to monitor land or greenhouse conditions even though they are far away from the place of cultivation for the tools and pond managers are connected to the internet network.

Abstract

LMS Moodle merupakan salah satu platform e-learning yang populer dan banyak digunakan oleh institusi pendidikan. Namun, keberhasilan penggunaan platform ini sangat tergantung pada performansi dan kehandalan sistem. Oleh karena itu, pengujian performansi Moodle pada arsitektur three tier menggunakan JMeter menjadi topik yang diminati dalam beberapa penelitian. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengujian performansi Moodle dengan variabel yang dinilai meliputi response time, error rate, concurrency, dan availability pada arsitektur three tier dengan tambahan unsur load balancing menggunakan JMeter. Pengujian dilakukan dengan jumlah user yang bervariasi dan waktu yang berbeda, dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi performansi Moodle dalam kondisi yang berbeda. Selain itu, dilakukan juga pembandingan antara hasil pengujian pada arsitektur three tier dengan arsitektur single tier. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa arsitektur three tier dengan tambahan unsur load balancing memiliki performansi yang lebih baik daripada arsitektur single tier, dengan nilai rata-rata response time yang lebih rendah, error rate yang lebih kecil, nilai concurrency yang lebih tinggi, dan nilai availability yang lebih stabil pada waktu yang berbeda. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan arsitektur three tier dengan tambahan unsur load balancing dapat meningkatkan performansi platform e-learning Moodle.

Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu, teknologi informasi berkembang semakin pesat. Salah satunya yang sedang gencar dikembangkan di berbagai daerah, kota, maupun negara adalah konsep Smart City. Salah satu penerapannya adalah mewujudkan smart tourism, dimana bertujuan untuk mempermudah sampainya informasi tentang peta lokasi, situasi, dan segala informasi dari objek-objek wisata di suatu daerah. Maka dari itu, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan mengembangkan suatu Sistem Informasi Geografis berbasis website yang diintegrasikan dengan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process untuk mempermudah penggunanya dalam mengelola data dan mendapatkan informasi detail dan rekomendasi destinasi objek wisata terbaik di Kecamatan Dau. Hasil pengujian pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan metode AHP sudah cukup membantu calon wisatawan dalam menentukan objek wisata terbaik. Sistem Informasi Geografis yang dibangun juga dibuat simple namun lengkap. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa semakin banyak jumlah data kriteria dan alternatif yang digunakan dalam implementasi metode AHP, maka juga dapat berpengaruh dalam peningkatan akurasi.

Abstract

Inside any e-commerce platform, search features are a key factor in an online business. In order to look for the desired item name, users need to type a pattern into the search feature. Inside the typing process users may make some mistypes. Based on the problem, the writer tried to create a search box as the search feature inside an e-commerce system with a capability to look for item names, even if there are some accidental mistypes inside the user's typing process. The main purpose is to reduce the possibility of empty results after a searching process due to the user’s accidental mistypes. This research utilizes Rabin Karp Algorithm in order to look for the item names. Result of this research is that the Rabin Karp Algorithm can be implemented in a website-based e-commerce, but this method is slower than SQL as a method to search item names inside the same system. It happens because Rabin Karp requires a longer process than SQL to get the similarity percentage from each comparison. This research shows that k-gram value inside the algorithm affects the overall results with a condition where greater the value.

Abstract

Implementation of Community Service activities with the title "Development of Whatsapp Broadcaster Applications and Training at the ABC Calistung Sidoarjo Course Institute" was carried out on March 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021. Meanwhile, the implementation of applications, training and mentoring was carried out online on July 27, 2021 The results that have been achieved in the implementation of this PkM are Services in the form of training and assistance in using the Whatsapp Broadcaster application, the product is in the form of the Whatsapp Broadcaster application that has been installed on partner servers, intellectual Property Rights in the form of Copyrights that are still in the form of a submission draft.
