Abstract

Hypertension is the most common cause of cardiovascular disease. Hypertension at the Mojolangu Health Center is in the top three based on patient visits. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Selfcare Model Based on Health Belief Model for Hypertension Patients aged 45 to and above in Malang City. The design used analytic survey with cross sectional approach, the sampling technique used was pruporsive sampling with a total sample of 140. The simple care variables were: values and attitudes, self-efficacy, social support. HBM variables are: vulnerability, severity, benefits, behavioral barriers and motivation. Statistical analysis using data processing techniques used is the CB-SEM method or Covariance Based SEM (CB-SEM), where CB-SEM is more intended as a method to confirm theory. The software used for CB-SEM processing is AMOS. The research found that the biggest total effect was from the variable self-care validation on motivation, which was 0.704, then the direct effect of the self-care validation on the benefits was 0.615, the smallest direct effect of value and attitude on severity was 0.011. This study recommends increasing HBM by paying attention to education and age so that self-care management can be better.

The activities carried out are in the form of empowerment which is carried out for 3 days to determine the knowledge and skills of the Darussalam Mosque Youth community in Bunut Wetan Pakis Village. The results of the implementation of activities using test sheets were measured by pre-posting results, with an average pre-test score of 100% in the poor knowledge category, and an average post-test score of 100% in the good knowledge category. While the post-test results obtained 92% good knowledge category, while to be seen through the results before and before the show and the less than 100% category and after the demonstration increased to 100% good. There is an increase in knowledge and skills regarding Disaster Preparedness during the Pandemic Period. Training for Darussalam Mosque Youth is very much carried out, which can increase knowledge and understanding of disaster preparedness and preparation for disaster preparedness, and continue to use Health protocols, besides being able to educate families and surrounding communities from the results of the training

Abstract

Aloevera can protect and restore the function of damaged pancreatic beta cells. The content of aloe vera can work like insulin, and lower blood glucose even though all beta cells have degenerated. The aim of the study was to find out the effect of aloe vera extract on the regulation of blood glucose levels in rats induced by streptozotocin. The study was true experimental randomized pre-post test control group design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling consisting of 20 wistar strain rats divided into 4 groups, namely the placebo control group, treatment group with a dose of 250 mg/dl, a dose of 350 mg/dl, and a dose of 1000 mg/dl. Rats were given STZ injection on day 8 after acclimatization. The independent variable was aloe vera extract. The dependent variable was blood glucose levels. The intervention of giving aloe vera extract was given for 9 days. Data were analyzed by Paired t Test and ANOVA. The results showed that there was an effect of aloe vera extract at a dose of 350 mg/kgBW on blood glucose levels with a paired t test of 0.022. The ANOVA results showed that aloe vera extract at a dose of 350 mg/kgBW had the highest effectiveness with a p value of 0.05. The chromium, alprogen, and flavonoid in aloe vera will improve the beta function of the pancreas in producing the hormone insulin. Damage to the islets of Langerhans cells in the pancreas will be inhibited and restore the sensitivity of the insulin receptor cells.methods that are attractive to high school students and carried out consistently.
