Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya Fear Of Missing Out Tren Gawai pada anak muda di Kota Tomohon Kelurahan Matani atau dengan istilah lain FoMo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan probability sampling, responden anak muda di Kota Tomohon Kelurahan Matani dengan jumlah yang didapatkan sejumlah 65 subjek. Menggunakan uji analisis statistic deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat adanya Fear Of Missing Out terhadap anak muda di Kota Tomohon Kelurahan Matani dengan rata-rata tingkat Fear Of Missing Out terhadap anak muda yaitu 62,6769, dengan kategori interpretasi skor variabel Fear Of Missing Out. (32-64 : 32 > 49%, 65- 96 : 33 > 51%, terhadap Fear Of Missing Out.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ASMR on reducing stress while writing thesis for students of Psychology Study Program, Manado State University. This research method uses quasi-experiments with the Time Series Design research design. The population of this study were 110 students of Psychology Study Program, Manado State University of class 2018. The subjects of this study were 22 students of class A. The data was collected with PSS-10 scale by Cohen & Williamson (1988) which was adapted by Purnami & Sawitri (2019) with 10 items. The results of the validity test on the instrument showed that 10 items were valid and the results of the reliability test of the instrument showed a coefficient value of 0,862. The research was tested using the Paired Sample T Test. The results showed that ASMR had an effect on reducing the stress in students who were writing thesis.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is an interesting object of study because it influences many other important variables. Much literature evidence states that self-efficacy is a significant predictor of academic procrastination. This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on academic procrastination in students. This research is a causal correlation type with a quantitative approach. Data on self-efficacy and academic procrastination scales were filled in by 51 subjects out of a total population of 108 students obtained randomly through simple random sampling using the Taro Yamane formula. The descriptive analysis stated that students' self-efficacy was in the high category and academic procrastination was in the low category. The results of the assumption test state that the research data is normal and linear in shape. The results of the simple regression analysis stated that there was a negative and significant effect of the self-efficacy variable on academic procrastination (p=0.000; p<0.05 with a contribution of 58.6%. This means that the higher the self-efficacy, the academic procrastination will decrease and vice versa. It is recommended that research The next section discusses active academic procrastination.
