Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para petani terkait pemanfaatan biochar sebagai agen pembenah tanah yang dikombinasikan dengan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas cabai rawit. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM antara lain pemaparan materi, pengukuran tingkat pemahaman melaui pretest dan post-test, demonstrasi cara pembuatan dan pengaplikasian biochar, dan peninjauan terkait perubahan perilaku petani atas informasi yang telah diterima. Pengukuran atas perubahan tingkat pemahaman petani atas materi yang diperoleh menggunakan rumus Hake, N-Gain. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa para petani sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan PkM ini karena biochar tergolong informasi dan teknologi yang baru diketahui. Ketika demonstrasi berlangsung, para petani sangat antusias untuk terlibat terutama para petani perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran dengan N-Gain skor yang diperoleh mencapai nilai 1 dengan presentase N-Gain score sebesar 85% hal ini menunjukan bahwa metode yang diterapkan pada kegiatan tergolong efektif selaras dengan tingkat penguasaan petani yang sudah tergolong tinggi. Lebih lanjut, peninjauan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan perilaku dan motivasi dimana petani mampu mengaplikasikan biochar secara mandiri tanpa pendampingan dari tim PkM.Abstract: This PkM activity aims to provide training to farmers regarding the use of biochar as a soil improvement agent combined with Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) so as to increase the productivity of cayenne pepper. The methods used in PkM activities include material exposure, measuring the level of understanding through pretest and post-test, demonstration of how to make and apply biochar, and review of changes in farmer behavior on the information that has been received. Measurement of changes in farmers' level of understanding of the material obtained using the Hake, N-Gain formula. The results of the implementation show that the farmers are very enthusiastic about participating in this PkM activity because biochar is a new information and technology known. When the demonstration took place, the farmers were very enthusiastic to be involved, especially the women farmers. Based on the results of measurements with N-Gain the score obtained reaches a value of 1 with a percentage of N-Gain score of 85%, this shows that the method applied to the activity is classified as effective in line with the level of mastery of farmers who are already classified as high. Furthermore, the review showed that there was a change in behavior and motivation where farmers were able to apply biochar independently without assistance from the PkM team.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the marketing mix influences the increase in rice sales volume of the Kembang Mekar Farmers Group. The marketing mix is one of the factors that can influence the increase in sales volume of a product. The marketing mix itself consists of four elements, namely product, price, promotion and distribution. In the context of the Kembang Mekar farmer group, it is important to analyze the influence of the marketing mix on increasing rice sales volume. Thus, this research aims to identify factors in the marketing mix that can increase the sales volume of rice for the Kembang Mekar farmer group. In the context of ideal conditions, the Kembang Mekar farmer group is expected to be able to increase rice sales volume significantly. The location of this research was carried out at the Kembang Mekar farmer group. Determining the location of the research was carried out deliberately. The time for conducting the research is from February to May 2024. Product and price have a significant influence on the volume of rice sales in the Kembang Mekar farmer group, while place and promotion do not have a significant influence individually.
