Abstract

Indramayu is one of the regencies in West Java Province that produces food crop production in the agricultural and plantation sectors. Many people work in the agricultural sector, one of which is by growing vegetables on their land. Planting vegetables on land in the Indramayu area often experiences problems, for example the land used is not in accordance with the type of vegetables grown. Some farmers have difficulty in evaluating land due to their lack of understanding of the land to be planted so that farmers rely on the system of planting habits that they usually do. The wrong land selection can result in energy and financial losses used for maintenance. Vegetables will develop imperfectly, even vegetables can die because of the inappropriateness of the land used. This study aims to assist farmers in determining what types of vegetable crops can be planted on their land using the k-means clustering method. There are 7 data criteria used for processing k-means so that later it can produce output a recommendation of vegetable types that can be planted by farmers according to the criteria they enter into the system. The results of this study produce an expert system that can provide information about vegetables selected according to the criteria selected by each user and with this system, ordinary people can find out how the selection of types of vegetables is practically on the land to be planted with vegetables.

Abstract

Abstract-Widarapayung Wetan Village is developing a village that applies technology as well as an educational tourism object. Technology tourism combined with agriculture to become modern agricultural tourism. One of the applied agriculture is spinach cultivation so that the results from agriculture can be developed into a food product such as spinach chips. Hydroponic greenhouses that use Internet of Things technology can be used for modern agricultural implementation. Monitoring systems and automatic control systems will be able to assist in the maintenance of spinach cultivation. The application of modern agriculture is expected to add insight to the surrounding community. In addition, the greenhouse with this technology is expected to be an attraction to provide knowledge to visitors and the public as educational and technology tourism. The tour can introduce the planting process, controlling the environment around the plants using sensors and monitored through the website. The stages undertaken include constructing a green house framework, establishing a monitoring system, and placing the greenhouse at the destination location or related partners. In addition, further activities include manufacturing hydroponics, manufacturing and assembling control systems, as well as training on the use and maintenance of hydroponic greenhouses.

Abstract

Lighting is one of the most important requirements of a building. This is because inadequate lighting of a space can affect the health and comfort of activities in that space. In addition to less important lighting, room temperature adjustments, room temperature adjustments have a significant impact on comfort during activities in the room. This magazine describes the lighting and room temperature control design of the CilacapState Polytechnic Welder Shop. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. This method calculates the required lighting and room temperature control and compares it with the standards. 2 rooms increase the number of light points and 3 rooms change the type of lamp with a higher lumen. There are 8 rooms that are recommended to use air conditioners with SNI 91714189. According to the SNI, the number of air conditioners and the capacity of air conditioners adjusts to the size of the room.
