Abstract

Political communication is a communication medium that can be used by candidates for legislative members to their prospective voters. This is considered as an information distribution system that can facilitate access to information by voters to legislative candidates. So that voters in choosing their representatives will be based more on track record information and work programs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the case study method. To find out in depth about the problems being studied, this study used a key informant, namely H. Sumaryo BA as a candidate for legislative members in the 2019 elections in Siak Regency. The results of the study stated that the political communication strategy carried out by H. Sumaryo BA as a legislative member candidate in the 2019 general election in Siak Regency was a positioning strategy (strengthening strategy, persuasion strategy) which was modified with a political communication strategy which included maintaining institutional strengthening character, understanding the audience , crafting persuasive messages, setting methods, choosing media, the art of compromise and being willing to open up. This research concludes that the more dominant and effective strategy used in the winning strategy in the 2019 legislative elections by H.Sumaryo BA is the Caring for Character strategy.

Abstract

The ASN Bill which was just passed by the DPR last month presents the concept of a new salary scheme for PPPK. Initially PPK and PNS had slightly different salary schemes, especially regarding pension guarantees which PPPK did not have. The presence of the newly passed ASN Law does not recognize the difference between PPK and PNS salaries. Therefore, this research aims to describe the differences in salary schemes that exist in the old and new ASN Laws. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used in this research is secondary data using a library approach collected using data collection methods, data selection, data reduction and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

Film Ice Cold : Murder, Coffee, and Jessica Wongso akhir-akhir ini menjadi isu yang kontroversial di tengah masyrakat. Satu sisi menilai terdapat kejanggalan yang luar biasa yang harus di ungkap dalam kasus pembunuhan Wayang Mirna Salihin dengan kopi sianida hingga fil ini daat dijadikan petunjuk. Pada sisi lain, sebagaian masyrakat menilai film ini berpihak, menggiring opini publik, dan sebagai alat komersialisasi oleh pihak Netfflix. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dua perspektif yang kontroversial di atas. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitiatf dengan pendekata deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari kutipan fil, sinopsis, buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan website yang kredibel. Data-data yang diukumpulkan dinalaissi dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, seleksi data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan 1.) The film Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee, and Jessica Wongso can indirectly strengthen Jessica Wongso's side in filing for extraordinary legal action/judicial review which will then be constructed by constructing an argument as if the application for reconsideration this time is based on public unrest and complaints. 2.) The film Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee, and Jessica Wongso has the potential to become a commercialization tool because the film is paid, viral, and has cheap production costs compared to action films, horror films, and so on. 3.) Researchers agree with singer and actor Brissia Jodie that Netflix should make a part two film with a more balanced storyline on both sides.

Abstract

Konsumsi media dengan jumlah yang cukup banyak, dengan frekuensi cukup sering dan durasi cukup lama dapat menyebabkan addiction (kecanduan) pada anak dan remaja. Media yang saat ini sangat popular di kalangan anak dan remaja adalah internet. Berbagai layanan tersedia di internet, hal ini membuat anak dan remaja dapat bertahan berlama-lama mengakses internet. Oleh karena itu para orang tua, perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pola asuh digital. Selain itu, para guru juga perlu diberikan kemampuan media literacy terutama keterampilan menggunakan parenting tools sehingga dapat menularkan keterampilan ini kepada orang tua murid atau anggota masyarakat yang lain melalui kegiatan-kegiatan sejenis. Tingkat adopsi gadget saat ini semakin mengkahwatirkan, sehingga perlu langkah-langkah konkret untuk menerapkan pola asuh di era digital, agar anak-anak terhindar dari kencanduan gadget serta terbentuk sikap dan mental yang baik di dalam diri anak. Beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pendampingan terhadap anak, membatasi pengunaan internet pada anak, menjalankan screen time di Smartphone, serta pengunaan beberapa aplikasi ramah anak seperti youtube kids.
