Abstract

75% of maternal deaths are caused by bleeding, infection, and high blood pressure in the mother during pregnancy. Danger signs in pregnancy are a sign that a serious problem has occurred in the pregnant mother or the fetus in her womb so that it can cause illness or death before or after delivery. The method of this community service is the extension method in the form of direct presentation of lecture material to 20 pregnant women using leaflets and browsur media. This community service as a whole is very effective, so that an increase in knowledge is obtained after counseling on the danger signs of pregnancy to pregnant women

Abstract

Nationally, the nutritional status of children in various regions in Indonesia is still a problem. The nutritional status of toddlers is an important thing that every parent should know. The need for more attention in growth and development at the age of five is based on the fact that malnutrition that occurs during this golden period is irreversible (cannot be recovered). Malnutrition can affect the development of a child's brain and gross motor skills. The research objective was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and gross motoric development in children under five years of age . This type of research was Analytical Survey with Cross Sectional design conducted at the Bajoe Health Center for 61 respondents taken using a non-probability sampling technique, namely accidental sampling, the data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of the chi square test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there is a relationship between nutritional status and gross motor development of children under five years of age. Increase the availability of trained personnel, especially midwives and nutritionists as personnel in charge of serving nutrition counseling and monitoring developments toddlers at the Bajoe Health Center, Bone District.

Abstract

Stunting refers to the condition of a child's height being shorter than their age, which is caused by a long-term lack of nutrition during the first 1000 days of life (HPK). As adults, children who are stunted are vulnerable to non-communicable diseases. Apart from nutritional factors, stunting is caused by a lack of public knowledge. Because most people do not understand correctly about stunting, and think that stunting or the term commonly used in society is a hereditary factor. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge through counseling about stunting at the Cenrana District Posyandu. The method used is interactive lectures and questions and answers and this activity will be carried out in August 2021. Based on the results of the pretest and post test which were attended by 20 respondents, it can be stated that the results of the pre test regarding the level of knowledge of respondents regarding stunting prevention by 5 respondents (25%) understand regarding stunting prevention, while based on the results of the post test there were 18 respondents (90%) who understood stunting prevention. The enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the training activities was also very good.

Abstract

Maternal nutritional status before and during pregnancy can affect the growth of the fetus being conceived. If the mother's nutritional status is normal before and during pregnancy, it is likely that she will give birth to a healthy, full-term baby with normal birth weight. The quality of the baby being born is highly dependent on the nutritional state of the mother before and during pregnancy. If the nutritional needs of pregnant women are not met, nutritional disorders and pregnancy complications can arise. complications of pregnancy, one of which is the incidence of anemia. The purpose of this counseling is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about nutrition in pregnant women. After getting counseling about nutrition for pregnant women at Posyandu Majang Kab.Bone , carried out with the hope of preventing and avoiding problems as a reventive and promotive effort in the form of counseling and socialization regarding nutrition in pregnant women. The counseling method used is the lecture, simulation and question and answer method and will be carried out in October 2020. Evaluation of this activity is carried out by asking questions according to the evaluation guide on nutrition in pregnant women. The results showed that 90% of the participants understood and were able to explain again about the material that had been presented. This Community Service Activity runs in an orderly and smooth manner the participants looked enthusiastic about this activity.
