Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh treatment akustik terhadap kenyamanan pada ruang Masjid dengan menggunakan pelepah pisang (α = 0,71). Kemudian menempatkan sampel pelepah pisang berukuran 25 x 25 x 2 cm pada dinding Masjid untuk mengukur tingkat tekanan bunyi dan waktu dengung menggunakan alat ukur sound level meter. Nilai tingkat tekanan bunyi turun dari 71,2 dB menjadi 55 dB, nilai waktu dengung dengan menggunakan metode sabine dan percobaan berturut-turut turun dari 1,89 s menjadi 1,5 s dan dari 1,78 s menjadi 1,56 s. Pelepah pisang memiliki pengaruh yang baik untuk dijadikan  bahan treatment akustik ruang karena memiliki daya serap dan daya simpan yang baik dalam kondisi kering.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan sarana transportasi dalam aktivitas mobilitas dapat menimbulkan dampak kebisingan. Kebisingan adalah sumber bising paling utama. Kebisingan pada sekarang terutama di perkotaan memiliki dampak kebisingan yang tidak disadari dapat menimbulkan dampak buruk bagi kesehatan dan kenyamanan lingkungan. Telah dilakukan penelitian tingkat kebisingan di Jalan Halat Kota Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kebisingan, pola sebaran kebisingan, dan penerapan barrier buatan. Metode pengukuran yang digunakan mengacu pada Surat Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No.48/MENLH/11/1996. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengukuran kebisingan adalah Sound Level Meter tipe TL 200. Untuk pemetaan dengan menggunakan Software Surfer Golden Versi 20. Penelitian ini memiliki 32 titik yang terdiri dari 8 titik pada pembatas jalan dan 24 titik pada pemukiman penduduk. Untuk mereduksi kebisingan menggunakan barrier buatan dari bahan triplek. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh tingkat kebisingan tertinggi sebesar 76,2 dBA dan tingkat kebisingan terendah sebesar 59,5 dBA. Jalan Halat Kota Medan memiliki nilai kebisingan yang melebihi standar baku mutu 55 dBA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the noise level in the Sri Lelawangsa train carriage without the addition of sound-absorbing materials and to determine the thickness of the sound-absorbing material needed to meet the acoustic comfort standard if it is simulated in a sample testing room. Noise level measurements were carried out on the Sri Lelawangsa train carriages in conditions without the addition of sound-absorbing materials. This noise level measurement was carried out in three carriages of the Sri Lelawangsa train, namely the train carriage, engine carriage, and passenger carriage, the source of noise comes from outside and inside the Sri Lelawangsa train. The study of the application of acoustics was carried out in a sample testing room made of cardboard boxes with a length of 34cm, width 25, cm and height 32 cm, and the source of noise in the sample testing room was the speaker. The absorbent material used to meet the acoustic comfort standard is pyramidal foam which is placed on the nearest side of the sound source. The measuring instrument used to measure noise on the Sri Lelawangsa train is a sound level meter and the Surfer Golden V16 software is used to describe the distribution of sound in the Sri Lelawangsa train carriage. The noise level on the Sri Lelawangsa train still exceeds the quality standard set by the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 75 of 2015 which is 80 dB. The highest noise level in the passenger car is at point (1) 82.81 dB. The machinist carriage is 84.70 dB, and the engine carriage is at point (2) 88.92 dB. After measuring the reverberation time on the Sri Lelawangsa train carriage, it is known that the surface area of the sound absorbing material needed to meet the reverberation time standard on the Sri Lelawangsa train carriage is 34,83 m3 with an absorption coefficient (α) of 0.58 according to with the provisions of SNI 03-6306-2000.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the acoustic comfort level of the BMKG Hall Class 1 Deli Serdang Climatology Station before and after the treatment of the room in the form of adding sound-absorbing materials. The purpose of this study was to measure the noise level and optimize the effect of noise with acoustic comfort standards in accordance with KEPMENLH No. 48 of 1996 concerning Noise Level Standards in the BMKG Hall of Class 1 Deli Serdang Climatology Station. Sample Materials The materials used for sound absorption in the room are newsprint pulp and cork waste (Styrofoam) with a thickness of 3 cm. This research is motivated by the high noise below in the room which causes hearing discomfort in the room. The results of the physical test of newsprint and cork pulp (Styrofoam) at frequencies of 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 4000 Hz obtained absorption coefficients of 0.47, 0.36, 0.48, 0.36, 0.55 and 0, 59 with the results of Reverberation Time (RT) calculations at frequencies of 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 4000 Hz, the results obtained are RT 2.13 s, 1.35 s, 1.01 s, 0.80 s, 0.79 s, 0.82 s.

Abstract

Research was carried out on the analysis of the sound absorption level of several types of patchwork acoustic materials which aims to find out whether patchwork can be used as a sound dampening material, to determine the sound absorption level of several types of patchwork acoustic materials and to determine the best attenuation level of several types of patchwork acoustic materials. the type of patchwork acoustic material. The background of this research is due to the acoustic quality of the room which has received less attention for the comfort of listeners when they are in a room. The study used variations of sound absorbing materials, namely cotton and denim patchwork. Measurement of the sound absorption coefficient of patchwork is done by making a sample chamber with a length of 13.5 cm, a width of 13.5 cm and a height of 8.5 cm. Sound Level Meter is a tool used to measure the level of sound pressure. Variations in the thickness of the patchwork used were 3, 5, and 10 mm. In measuring the entire inner wall surface of the sample room will be covered with patchwork, then the speaker is placed in the sample room. The sound source comes from speakers with a frequency of 90 dB which is arranged in a frequency range of 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz. The best damping level of the three materials is a mixture of cotton and denim with a thickness of 10 mm, because the thicker the patchwork layer, the α value obtained is 0.629.

Abstract

Dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan : untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan akustik ruang Aula BMKG Stasiun Klimatologi Kelas 1 Deli Serdang sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan Treatment ruangan berupa penambahan bahan penyerap suara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengukur tingkat kebisingan dan mengoptimalkan pengaruh kebisingan dengan standar kenyamanan akustik yang sesuai dengan KEPMENLH No.48 Tahun 1996 tentang Baku Tingkat Kebisingan pada Ruang Aula BMKG Stasiun Klimatologi Kelas 1 Deli Serdang. Sampel Bahan Material yang digunakan untuk penyerapan suara pada ruangan yaitu limbah bubur kertas koran dan gabus (Styrofoam) dengan ketebalan 3 cm. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tingginya kebisingan pada ruangan yang menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan pendengaran pada ruangan. Hasil uji fisis material bubur kertas koran dan gabus (Styrofoam) pada frekuensi 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, dan 4000 Hz didapatkan koefisien serap sebesar 0.47, 0.36, 0.48, 0.36, 0,55 dan 0,59 dengan hasil perhitungan Reverberation Time (RT) pada  frekuensi 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, dan 4000 Hz didapatkan hasil RT 2.13 s, 1.35 s, 1.01 s, 0.80 s, 0.79 s, 0.82 s.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan mengenai analisis tingkat penyerapan suara beberapa jenis bahan akustik tambal sulam yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kain perca dapat digunakan sebagai bahan peredam suara, mengetahui tingkat penyerapan suara beberapa jenis bahan akustik tambal sulam dan untuk mengetahui menentukan tingkat redaman terbaik dari beberapa jenis material akustik tambal sulam. jenis bahan akustik tambal sulam. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kualitas akustik ruangan yang kurang mendapat perhatian demi kenyamanan pendengar ketika berada di dalam ruangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan variasi bahan peredam suara yaitu katun dan denim tambal sulam. Pengukuran koefisien serapan bunyi tambal sulam dilakukan dengan membuat ruang sampel berukuran panjang 13,5 cm, lebar 13,5 cm, dan tinggi 8,5 cm. Sound Level Meter adalah alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat tekanan suara. Variasi ketebalan tambal sulam yang digunakan adalah 3, 5, dan 10 mm. Dalam pengukuran seluruh permukaan dinding bagian dalam ruang sampel akan ditutup dengan kain perca, kemudian speaker ditempatkan pada ruang sampel. Sumber bunyi berasal dari speaker dengan frekuensi 90 dB yang disusun dalam rentang frekuensi 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 dan 4000 Hz. Tingkat redaman terbaik dari ketiga bahan tersebut adalah campuran bahan katun dan denim dengan ketebalan 10 mm, karena semakin tebal lapisan tambal sulam maka nilai α yang diperoleh sebesar 0,629.

Abstract

The Hall of the Faculty of Science and Technology UINSU Medan is a multipurpose room with a volume of 477,572 m3 which is located on the lower floor of the Faculty building which is adjacent to the Faculty canteen and is often full of crowds. This research was conducted to determine the level of acoustic comfort in the room and to determine the effect of adding acoustic treatment to the front hall wall on the value of sound pressure level and reverberation time. Retrieval of data at a frequency of 125 Hz to 4000 Hz for background noise and sound pressure level, reverberation time using a sound level meter type TL200 and acoustic treatment materials from patchwork made of cotton and towels made of polyester. The results of the study showed that the absorption coefficient of the acoustic treatment material was known through testing using an acoustic box made of cardboard and the results obtained were 0.71 at a thickness of 5 cm. Obtained an average value of background noise in a closed room of 35.85 dB in an open space of 38.67 dB, an average sound pressure level value of 58.30 dB, the reverberation time value using the sabine formula is 9.244 s and in practice it is 1 ,66 s with the balloon eruption method. Treatment of cotton patchwork and polyester towels with a surface area of 7.72 m2 was given a sound pressure level of 51.19 dB and a reverberation time of 1.5 s and using the sabine formula of 1.66 s. Based on the results of this study, the addition of cotton patchwork and polyester towel treatment had an effect on reducing the value of sound pressure level and reverberation time in the hall room of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Uinsu Medan. Keywords: Sound Pressure, Reverberation Time, Patchwork.
