Abstract

The rapid technological development in this decade has an impact on all lines of life. Like wise with the absence of a manual that has been replaced by a fingerprint. Fingerprint can be used as a practical tool and can minimize fraud in attendance that is often done by workers. MTs Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo dan SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorjo are institutions under the auspices of the Pondok Pesantren Syafi'iyah Sukorejo which adopts the use of fingerprints to facilitate labor management. It is also hoped that fingerprints can improve work discipline with transparent and honest evaluations of employee performance. The use of fingerprints as a tool must be supported by policies that clearly regulate both use and sanctions. Fingerprint analysis that has been done shows that there is still not a maximum number of participants in using fingerprint with various factors. Regression curves also have not shown consistency of work timeliness so there is a need for policy evaluation in the use of fingerprint. Ofcourse the application and implementation of policies governing the use of finger print is not immune to leadership in an institution. So there needs to be synergy that creates expected work discipline and an ideal institution.
