Abstract

Introduction coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is currently a serious world problem with the number of cases which are always increasing every day. It is known that the origin of this virus came from Wuhan, China. Found at the end of December 2019. Globally until 21 August 2020 cases of COVID-19 in the world there were 22,256,220 confirmed cases. Knowledge about COVID-19 is very important for the public to have so that people are able to make decisions in behaving appropriately in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of public knowledge about COVID-19 and the prevention behavior of COVID-19 RT 002 RW 005 Perigi Baru District, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang city. This study is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional design. The research measurement tool using a questionnaire. The population in this study were people aged 17-45 years in RT 002 RW 005, Perigi Baru District, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang city, which were 249 respondents with a total sample of 66 respondents using a quota sampling technique. Based on the research , the results of the analysis using the chi square test obtained a p value of 0.000, which means that there is a relationship between the level of public knowledge about COVID-19 and the prevention behavior of COVID-19 RT 002 RW 005, Perigi Baru District, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang city.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction: Hypertension can be prevented and controlled by cultivating healthy living behaviors. Healthy living behaviors include consuming foods with balanced nutrition that meet nutritional needs with elements rich in fiber, low in fat and low in sodium (less than 6 grams of sodium per day), exercising regularly, getting enough rest, positive thinking, not smoking, and not smoking. consuming alcohol because smoking and alcohol can increase the risk of hypertension. However, the lack of adequate public knowledge about hypertension and its prevention tends to increase the incidence of hypertension. Research objective: to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of the elderly towards hypertension diet in elderly patients aged 60-74 years at Mitra Husada Hospital Tangerang in 2022. The form of research used is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. Sampling in this study using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach that is based on certain considerations made by the researcher himself based on the characteristics or characteristics of the population that have been known previously. The instrument used is a questionnaire, while the statistical test uses the Chi Square test. The results of the study: showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and the attitude of the elderly towards hypertension diet in elderly patients aged 60-74 years at Mitra Husada Hospital Tangerang in 2022 with statistical test results, namely P Value 0.001. Suggestion: it is hoped that this research can be an experience, can become knowledge and can motivate to continue to do good things in order to increase insight and knowledge of elderly people with hypertension and to their families in an effort to regulate the right diet and lifestyle in order to prevent the recurrence of hypertension.

Abstract

Background: Coffee consumption habits are popular among the public, according to data from the ICO reported that domestic coffee consumption in Indonesia from 2014 to 2021 continues to increase. This indication of increasing coffee consumption is characterized by the large growth in the number of modern coffee shops and the variety of coffee products that are in the style of young people in recent years is increasing rapidly. This condition makes the tradition of drinking coffee become increasingly popular among young people, especially college students, but regular consumption of coffee can cause dependence, one of the most obvious negative effects is to make it difficult for a person to sleep, thus this effect can affect the quality of a person's sleep. Objective: to find out whether there is a Relationship between Coffee Consumption Habits and Student Sleep Quality at Ichsan Satya University in 2023. Method: uses a cross-sectional approach with a statistical approach using the chi-square test. The sample of this study was 128 respondents determined by a simple random sampling technique. Results: In terms of the level of coffee consumption habits with a P value of 0.001 which means H0 is rejected, with an OR value (CI: 95%) of 3,907 (1,673-9,123) which means that respondents who have high coffee consumption habits have a poor sleep quality of 3,907 times compared to respondents who consume coffee with low intensity. Conclusion The results of this study show that consuming coffee with high intensity can increase the risk of poor sleep quality. Suggestions It is hoped that it can be used as input to students so that they can limit coffee consumption in a day.
