Abstract

Mount Burangrang Nature Reserve is a tropical mountain area with a total width up to 2.700 hectares and is located in Subang and Purwakarta regencies. Mount Burangrang Nature Reserve functions as a protector for the diversity of flora and fauna. However, the protected area is still not spared from the threats which come from outside or within the area. One of the threats is the existence of invasive alien species. It is an alien plant species that is introduced into a non-original ecosystem and brings effects on the ecological field. This study aimed to find out the diversity and distribution of invasive alien species at Mount Burangrang Nature Reserve, Subang Regency, West Jawa in Januari until march 2021. The square transect was chosen as a research method. According to the results, there were seven species of invasive alien plants with a total number of 244 individuals. The diversity index of invasive alien plant species at Mount Burangrang Nature Reserve was categorized as low with a range of values between 0,204-0.819. Meanwhile, the distribution was divided into clumped which owned by six species, Austroeupatoriuminulifolium, Chromolaena odorata, Ageratina Riparia, Calliandracalothyrsus, Musa acuminata, dan Maesopsis eminii and uniform distribution which only one species had Clidemia hirta.

Abstract

The establishment of a Learning Center on Ecotourism and Natural Culture of Santosa encourages the development of local policy insights, contributing to the development of national cultural values. Included in the Santosa Nature Ecotourism and Culture private area which provides coffee shop facilities, lodging places with themes that have a strong Sudanese cultural nuance. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of establishing a Learning Center in a culture-based tourism village. This journal analyzes descriptively qualitatively, filling out questionnaires in the surrounding community, and the parameters seen include attractions, amenities, and accessibility presented in the SWOT analysis. The results of the factors that influenced the establishment of Ecotourism and Culture Alam Santosa to become a Learning Center were influenced by internal and external factors with the strongest factors being the attractions of diverse cultural infrastructure and the trust that was woven with a strong community.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat membangun sikap rasional siswa sehingga dapat memilih setiap informasi yang masuk dan dapat diterima. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Student Team Achievement Division berbantu misteri box terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi sistem ekskresi. Indikator KBKr yang digunakan yaitu klarifikasi dasar, pengambilan keputusan, inferensi, klarifikasi lanjut, dan menyusun strateri. Metode penelitian ini yaitu quasi experimental. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dan variabel terikatnya yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes yang berbentuk uraian terbatas dengan jumlah 15 soal. Analisis data hasil keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan mann whitney u test yang dibantu dengan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model STAD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, yang dapat dilihat dari hasil uji N-gain pada kelas eksperimen yang lebih besar yaitu 56,3%. Hal ini menunjukan model STAD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division berbantu mistery box terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi. Hal ini dapat terlihat pada hasil uji mann whitney yang memperoleh signifikan 0,002 < 0,05. Pada uji Ngain diperoleh nilai sebesar 56,3%. Hal ini menunjukan model STAD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Penggunaan aplikasi pada proses pembelajaran masih jarang dilakukan karena dianggap tidak efektif karena siswa lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan ponselnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Aplikasi PlantNet Plant Identification dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian bermanfaat untuk menjadi tolak ukur proses pembelajaran agar lebih baik, serta penggunaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran sangat membantu siswa menjadi lebih aktif. Data diperoleh melalui tes keterampilan proses sains yang berbentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor N- Gain yang didapatkan yaitu sebesar 0,53 dengan kategori sedang. Data yang dihasilkan pada penelitian bersifat berdistribusi tidak normal dan homogen, sehingga dilakukan uji Nonparametric Mann Whitney dan menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,026. Nilai tersebut kurang dari taraf signifikansi 0,026 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi PlanNet Plant Identification dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains pada siswa kelas X MIPA.

Abstract

Abstract. In many cases, diabetics often have difficulty in wound healing and lead to amputation. Hyperglycemia is an early symptom of diabetic which is characterized by high blood glucose levels. Cell regeneration is one of part by wound healing process. Mango plants have benefits as medicinal plants because they have secondary metabolites that can help heal wounds. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mango leaf shoot extract on blood glucose levels of zebrafish (Danio rerio) hyperglycemia due to alloxan and glucose induction and role of mango leaf shoot extract on zebrafish caudal fin regeneration. This study used an experimental method with 5 group treatments: control group, hyperglycemia, metformin 0,75 w/v, extract 10 µg/ml and extract 20  µg/ml. Parameters observed include blood glucose level, fin length and survival rate. Hyperglycemia was measured by blood glucose level, caudal fin regeneration was analayzed using fin length, also environmental factors and survival rate were measured. Result showed that mango leaf shoot extract 20 µg/ml was efective in reducing blood glucose levels, reaching 68,31% and aproaching metformin 0,75 w/v  treatment with a decrease in blood glucose levels reaching 70,1%. Mango leaf shoot extract with concentration 20 µg/ml significantly different (p < 0,05) from hyperglycemia group and extract 10  µg/ml. Extract 20 µg/ml was effective in assisting the regeneration process with an increase caudal fin length reaching 0.94 cm during the treatment period.
