Abstract

This article aims to describe the role and contribution of Islam in science and its impacts. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that the role and contribution of Islam in science and its impact on life are the naqliyyah sciences, where Aqidah is the paradigm, sharia is the standard for its use, and morality is the ethics. The aqliyyah sciences cover medicine, mathematics, science (Physics, Astronomy, and Chemistry), and social sciences (Economics, Geography, and Psychology). In addition, Islam also contributed to translating works into Latin, providing concepts and methodologies to the West, introducing notation and decimal numbers, using works in college, helping to stimulate European thinking, pioneering universities in Europe, maintaining Greco-Persian, spreading new teachings in Europe, and teaching knowledge about hospitals. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan terkait Peran Dan Kontribusi Islam Dalam Ilmu Pengetahuan Beserta Dampaknya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran dan kontribusi islam dalam ilmu pengetahuan beserta dampaknya terhadap kehidupan antara lain dalam ilmu-ilmu naqliyyah dimana Aqidah menjadi paradigmanya, syariah standar pemanfaatannya dan akhlak sebagai etikanya. Adapun dalam ilmu-ilmu aqliyyah mencakup ilmu kedokteran, matematika, sains (Fisika, Astronomi dan Kimia) hingga ilmu sosial (Ekonomi, Geografi dan Psikologi). Selain itu islam juga berkontribusi dalam penerjemahan karya kepada bahasa latin, pemberian konsep dan metodologi kepada barat, pengenalan notasi dan angka desimal, penggunaan karya di bangku kuliah, membantu merangsang pemikiran orang Eropa, merintis universitas-universitas di Eropa, pemelihara Greco-Persian, menyebarkan ajaran baru di Eropa dan mengajarkan pengetahuan tentang rumah sakit.

Abstract

Islamic education is required to be able to answer the challenges of every era. And the progress of this education started a long time ago when Islamic territory had reached from west to east, namely during the military expansion during the era of caliph Umar Bin Khattab. So the purpose of this study is to describe Islamic Education in the Era of Umar Bin Khattab. The method used is a literature study with descriptive techniques in concluding and analyzing the data so that this research is qualitative. The results of the study show that Islamic Education during the Umar Bin Khattab era included the provision of quality educational resources by sending them to become teachers and scholars in conquered countries. then the construction of educational infrastructure such as kuttab, majlis, and mosques. And finally, there are methods in education such as halaqah, talaqqi, and lectures.

Abstract

Islamic education was built with great struggle from the Dutch and Japanese eras to the time of Indonesian independence. And in the early era of its reign, Japan sought the attention of Muslims by giving its leaders the power and freedom to teach and spread their thoughts, especially matters related to Islamic education which always transformed from time to time until it was able to adjust to its development. One of the important figures in that era was KH Abdul Wahid Hasyim. So the purpose of this study is to describe Islamic Education Renewal: Examining KH's Thoughts. Abdul Wahid Hasyim. This type of research is a literature study with content analysis techniques and then conclusions. The results of the research show that the renewal of Islamic education according to KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim covers the renewal of the pesantren education system in the institutional, methodological, curriculum, and library fields. As well as reforms in the national education system, including the obligation to study at madrasas, the inclusion of general education at madrasas/Islamic boarding schools, the inclusion of religious education in public schools, and the establishment of many Islamic tertiary institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research attempts to explore the dynamics of the struggle of adherents of the belief in God in Indonesia, especially adherents of Sapto Darmo to obtain their civil rights (Civil Society). The fulfillment of civil rights from the Dutch colonial era until the New Order era still seems selective, there are even indications of systematic efforts to hinder the emergence of this Civil Society. The debate over the issue of eliminating the 'religion column' on KTPs for adherents of beliefs ended with the issuance of a Constitutional Court Decision as an amendment to Law Number 23 of 2006 concerning Population Administration is a bright spot for its implementation Civil Society in Indonesia. Even though at the idealistic level this is over, at the practical level there are still many obstacles. In fulfilling this Civil Society, the state as the sole authority holder does not only put forward the purely juridical legal aspects but also the aspects of the state political contract that must be considered.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the role-playing learning method in PAI subjects in forming students' commendable morals. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with the literature study method, collecting data through the latest and old literature (journals, books, proceedings) as primary data and sources from the internet as secondary data, the results of which were then described descriptively. The results obtained show that the role-playing learning model helps and is effective in developing students' commendable characteristics such as honesty, discipline, and good manners toward learning. This can happen because students gain direct experience by playing one character or another. What they experienced internalized within themselves so that there was a good change from before. Then based on the literature review it was also found that the role-playing learning method could be implemented in PAI subjects with the teaching material of the Story of the Prophet Abraham. Through the story of Prophet Ibrahim, students gain experience on how to respect their parents, act well, be honest, obey, and trust. The research carried out can contribute to the development of learning methods for parties involved in education, with a variety of learning methods applied that can provide meaningful learning by both teachers and students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dari metode pembelajaran role playing pada mata pelajaran PAI dalam membentuk akhlak terpuji siswa. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, pengumpulan data melalui literatur-literatur terbaru dan lama (jurnal, buku, prosiding) sebagai data primer dan sumber dari internet sebagai data sekunder yang kemudian hasilnya dijabarkan secara desriptif. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa model pembelajaran role playing membantu dan efektif dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter terpuji siswa seperti kejujuran, kedisplinan, dan adab yang baik terhadap berguru. Hal demikian dapat terjadi karena siswa mendapatkan pengalamannya secara langsung dengan memerankan satu tokoh atau peran lainnya. Dari apa yang mereka alami menginternalisasi dalam diri sehingga adanya perubahan yang baik dari sebelumnya. Kemudian berdasarkan telaah literatur juga didapati bahwa metode pembelajaran role playing dapat dilaksanakan pada mata pelajaran PAI dengan materi ajar Kisah Nabi Ibrahim. Melalui kisah nabi Ibrahim siswa mendapatkan pengalaman bagaimana cara menghormati orangtua, berlaku baik, jujur, taat, dan tawakal. Penelitian yang dilakukan dapat menjadi sumbangsih bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran bagi pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan, dengan adanya variasi metode belajar yang diterapkan mampu memberikan kebermaknaan belajar baik oleh guru maupun siswa.
