Abstract

Kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) merupakan tanaman legum terpenting setelah kedelai yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pangan nasional sebagai sumber protein dan minyak nabati. MOL (Mikroorganisme lokal) adalah sekelompok mikroorganisme yang aktif dan berada dilingkungan sekitar, yang didapat dari tanaman atau bagian tanaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu konsentrasi (K) dan frekuensi (F) pemberian larutan MOL bonggol pisang kepok dengan masing-masing 3 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Apabila menunjukkan pengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan Uji BNT 5% untuk pengaruh tunggal dan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (DMRT) 5% untuk pengaruh interaksi. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Perlakuan konsentrasi (K) memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata terhadap umur berbunga dengan perlakuan K1 (1 kg bonggol pisang kepok + 200 gram gula merah + 2 liter air cucian beras) mampu mengahasilkan rerata umur berbunga lebih cepat yaitu 26,78 HST. 2) Perlakuan frekuensi (F) pemberian larutan MOL bonggol pisang kepok memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata terhadap umur berbunga dengan perlakuan F3 (3x seminggu) mampu mengahasilkan rerata umur berbunga lebih cepat yaitu 26,56 HST. Dan untuk perlakuan F1 (1x seminggu) memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata terhadap jumlah bunga pada umur 38 HST dengan rerata tertinggi yaitu 4,09. 3) Terjadi interaksi yang memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata terhadap umur berbunga yang lebih cepat pada perlakuan K1F3 (1 kg bonggol pisang kepok + 200 gram + 2 liter air cucian beras, dengan 3x seminggu) yaitu 25,00 HST, dan yang paling lama berbunganya pada perlakuan K1F1 (1 kg bonggol pisang kepok + 200 gram + 2 liter air cucian beras, dengan 1x seminggu) yaitu 28,67 HST.

Abstract

Cabbage is a vegetable that is easily found in traditional and modern markets. Leaf vegetables belonging to the Brassicaceae family, their needs continue to increase with the increasing growth of Indonesia's population, nutritional knowledge and people's purchasing power. Generally, cabbage plants are grown in the highlands. Cabbage production has decreased which could be due to a decrease in the availability of nutrients in the soil so that the right dose of fertilizer is needed to increase production. In addition, the ability to absorb nutrients for each variety of cabbage is different. The purpose of the study of the dose of NPK fertilizer on cabbage varieties was to determine the accuracy of the dose of NPK for cabbage growth; to obtain adaptive varieties in growth and production and to determine the response of NPK doses and varieties of cabbage to the growth and production of cabbage plants. The use of RAK (Randomized Block Design) in the study with factor I was the dose of NPK (D0 = no NPK; D1 = NPK 2 grams / plant; D2 = NPK 2.25 grams / plant; D3 = NPK 2.50 grams / plant) and the second factor is the variety (V1 = Green Nova Cabbage; V2 = Green Coronet Cabbage; V3 = Grand 11 Cabbage). The conclusions of the study were that: 1. The dose of NPK fertilizer had an effect on the parameters of height, number of leaves, and wet weight of the crop 2. Types of varieties affected the parameters of plant height; 3. The dose interaction of 2 grams of NPK/plant (D1 V2) and the green coronet variety gave the best average response of root length. Abstract

Grapes are one of the fruits from sub-tropical regions that have adapted to the climate of the Indonesian region. Increasing grape production needs to be done through various plant propagation techniques considering that grape productivity in Indonesia is still relatively low. One of the plant propagation techniques that can be applied to grapes is cuttings.The aims of the research were: 1) To determine the type of variety that affected the growth of grape cuttings (Vitis vinifera L.), 2) To determine the type of synthetic auxin that affected the growth of grape cuttings (Vitis vinifera L.), 3) To determine whether there was an interaction between varieties and types of auxin on the growth of grape cuttings grape cuttings (Vitis vinifera L.).The study was conducted using a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 2 factors. The first factor was the type of variety (Kediri Kuning, Prabu Bestari, and Bali varieties) and the second factor was the type of synthetic auxin (IBA, NAA, IAA) which was repeated 3 times.The results showed that: 1) Single-variety treatment had a significant effect on the treatment of the Prabu Bestari (J2) variety on the growth of grape cuttings (Vitis vinifera L.). 2) The single treatment of synthetic auxin had a significant effect on the treatment of auxin IBA (Z1) on the growth of grape cuttings (Vitis vinifera L.). 3) There was an interaction between varieties and synthetic auxins in the combination treatment of Prabu Bestari and NAA (J2Z2) varieties on the growth of grape cuttings (Vitis vinifera L.).Keywords: Types of Varieties, Kinds of Synthetic Auxins, Grape Cuttings.

Abstract

Traditionally, oyster mushroom cultivation uses a simple method, namely by utilizing wood sawdust that have undergone weathering as a planting medium (baglog). To support the growth and production of oyster mushrooms, need add nutrients such as rice bran and molasses to baglogs. This study aims to determine the growth and production of oyster mushroom plants by adding bran and molasses to baglogs. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions are: 1) the addition of bran 20% per baglog gives the best results on the volume of mycelium, the diameter of the fruit hood, and the wet weight of the fruit, 2) the concentration of molasses does not affect all parameters and 3) the interaction of adding bran 30% per baglog with a molasses concentration of 360 cc per dough on the speed of appearance of pinheads and the wet weight of the fruit.

Abstract

The research was conducted in Branggah Village, Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency, from March to June 2020. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using containers and AB mix nutrient concentrations on the growth and production of white pakcoy plants (Brassica Rapa L) using a hydroponic wick system. . The design used was factorial randomized block design (RBD), which consisted of two factors: 1. The wick system hydroponic container material consists of a plastic tub; Styrofoam, Stainless steel 2. Concentration of AB Mix Nutrients consists of 4 (four) levels, namely 1100 ppm; 1300 ppm; 1500 ppm; 1700 ppm with 3 repetitions. Parameters observed: Plant height, number of leaves, plant diameter, plant wet weight, root length, plant dry weight. The results showed that the single treatment of the wick system hydroponic container and the concentration of AB mix showed a significant effect on the observations of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, wet and dry weight of plants of all ages of observation. The interaction between container type and nutrient concentration had no effect on all observed parameters except leaf area.

Abstract

This research is expected to determine the effect of concentration and administration of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) on the growth and yield of cauliflower (Brassica Oleraceae var. Botrytis L). The research results obtained are: 1). PGPR concentration did not affect the growth and yield of cauliflower, 2). The treatment with PGPR had a significant effect on the results of analysis of variance on growth and yield of cauliflower, 3). There was no interaction between the administration of PGPR at a certain concentration and the time of administration on the growth and yield of cauliflower plants. The research method used was a 2-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), namely the first factor was the concentration of PGPR given with 4 levels of treatment and the second factor when giving PGPR with 3 levels of treatment, resulting in 12 experimental combinations with 3 repetitions so that there were 36 experimental plots . Data will be analyzed using 5% BNT test for single factors and 5% Duncan's distance test (DMRT) for interaction factors.

Abstract

Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is a fruit plant that has long been known and has become a commodity that has high economic value and is a trade commodity between countries. Vegetative propagation technique is an alternative to reproduce this type of plant. This study aims to: 1) Determine the concentration of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) which affects the growth of mango shoot cuttings (Mangifera indica L.). 2) Knowing the planting media that affect the growth of mango shoot cuttings (Mangifera indica L.). 3) To determine the interaction between the concentration of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) and the planting medium which influences the growth of mango shoot cuttings (Mangifera indica L.). The research was carried out using Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor was the concentration of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) (0 ppm, 500 ppm and 1000 ppm) and the second factor was the planting medium (sand, husk charcoal and sand + husk charcoal) with 3 replications. The results of this study were 1) There was an effect of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) concentration treatment on the growth of mango shoot cuttings (Mangifera indica L.). The effect occurred on the percentage of growing cuttings, days of shoot break, shoot length, and number of leaves. 2) There is an effect of growing media treatment on the growth of mango shoot cuttings (Mangifera indica L.). The effect occurred on the percentage of growing cuttings, shoot length and number of leaves. 3) There was no interaction between the treatment of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) concentrations and the growing media on the growth of mango shoot cuttings (Mangifera indica L.).

Abstract

Di desa Tegalrejo nasi basi biasanya dibuang percuma tanpa di manfaatkan bahkan dibuang, akibatnya dapat terjadi pencemaran tanah, air maupun udara, menyebabkan bau tidak sedap dan untuk mengurangi limbah tersebut, agar lingkungan terbebas untuk itu kami berupaya mengelola limbah tersebut menjadi pupuk organik melaluipembetukan MOL (Mikro-Organisme Lokal). Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu untuk membuat MOL dengan bahan baku dari limbah nasi basi sebagai pupuk organik ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah dan demontrasi pembuatan MOL kepada petani dan ibu-ibu kader Desa Tegalrejo.Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan pemberian materi melalui power point lalu melakukan demontrasi sehingga penyuluhan ini memiliki keberhasilan yaitu petani dan ibu-ibu kader memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam membuat MOL dari nasi basi untuk menjadi pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan.
