Abstract

Indonesia's abundant biodiversity provides good opportunities for developing medicines, especially traditional medicines made from plant materials. However, it is necessary to standardize the process to realize quality, safe, and efficacious traditional medicinal preparations. This standardization process is essential. This workshop aims to provide information on the standardization of raw materials for traditional medicines to have the knowledge and ability to standardize medicinal raw materials. At the initial stage, participants will be given a pretest. Furthermore, participants studied specific and non-specific parameters, and at the last stage, the participants were given a posttest. The data obtained from the pretest and posttest will then be processed using Excel and the IBM SPSS Statistics version 25.0 application. From the results of the workshop activities, the average value of the pretest results was 62.5806, smaller than the posttest results of 83.2258. This indicates a significant difference of P < 0.05 between the pretest and posttest. In this workshop, the team provided an understanding to the participants in standardizing the raw materials for traditional medicines. The statistical results also showed a significant effect on the treatment before being given training and after being given training to the workshop participants.

Abstract

Every year household waste is the highest contributor. A sustainable lifestyle is an alternative that can be done to reduce it. This activity aims to provide education and improve skills in managing garlic and orange peel waste into insect-repellent sprays for the residents of the Rorotan Rusunawa Flats. The activity began with observations by giving a pre-test form to see how far the participants' understanding was, resource persons providing material, practicing making insect repellent sprays, and finally filling out the post-test form to evaluate activities. This community service activity shows the participants are enthusiastic, as described in the Sig value. 2-tailed sample <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. The provision of material by resource persons and practice by trainers significantly affected the participants' knowledge and skills.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi memiliki banyak dampak positif maupun negatif bagi anak usia 0-5 tahun yang memerlukan banyak eksplorasi dalam merangsang tumbuh kembangnya. Teknologi menjadi bermanfaat ketika digunakan secara tepat dalam media belajar anak.Digital storytellingdanfingerpaintingmerupakan satu dari sekian banyak metode pembelajaran yang mampu menarik minat anak dalam belajar. Anak sejak dini dikenalkan untuk dekat dengan lingkungan sekitar melalui pemahaman bagian tumbuhan menggunakandigital storytelling, pengenalan warna dasar dan perpaduannya hingga meningkatkan motorik halus melaluifingerpainting. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, anak mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai bagian tumbuhan, warna hingga perubahan sikap dari malu dan takut kotor menjadi antusias mengaplikasikan cat dijemarinya pada kertas melalui gambar tumbuhan.
