Abstract

Penderita DM mempunyai resiko terjadinya ulkus kaki diabetik dan membutuhkan biaya tinggi untuk pengobatan bahkan amputasi. Pendidikan kesehatan tentang perawatan kaki merupakan upaya pencegahan primer untuk mencegah kejadian amputasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruhpemberian pendidikan kesehatandengan media booklet terhadap motivasi pasien DM Tipe II dalam melakukan perawatan kaki di ruang rawat inap RS Bahteramas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode pre experimental design dengan one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien DM tipe II yang dirawat periode Januari-April 2020 sebanyak 68 dengan jumlah sampel 41 orang diambil dengan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Variabel penelitian adalah motivasi dimana dilakukan pretest sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan posttest setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi prestest sebagian besar memiliki kategori kurang sebesar 51.2% dan setelah diberikan intervensi terjadi peningkatan kategori baik yakni sebesar 90.2% dan analisis bivariat diperoleh nilai p value 0.000 < 0.05. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruhpemberian pendidikan kesehatandengan media booklet terhadap motivasi pasien DM tipe II dalam melakukan perawatan kaki di ruang rawat inap RS Bahteramas

Abstract

Stick snack products are foods that are still rarely found in the community. Green seaweed plants contain carbohydrates, protein, fat, most of which are salt, sodium, and potassium compounds. beta-carotene and minerals. This study aims to determine the acceptability of color, texture, aroma and taste of green seaweed stick snacks with the addition of wheat flour in school children at SDN 29 Kendari. The type of research used is descriptive. The panelists were 53 students of SD Negeri 29 Kendari. The sampling technique used is the saturated survey. The data obtained using observation sheets and analyzed descriptively. The result of color preference for green seaweed stick snack products, namely R4 has the best acceptance rate of 90.6%. From the aspect of texture, that is R4 as much as 89.2%. From the aspect of aroma, namely R4 as much as 92.5%. Meanwhile, from the taste aspect, R4 is 92.5%. The conclusion of this study is the acceptability of green seaweed stick snacks based on the attributes of color, texture, aroma and taste. Meanwhile, the panelists preferred the R4 product more than other products.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure exceeds 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension can cause complications of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, heart disease and diabetes mellitus. The number of hypertension cases in Lemo-Lemo in 2019 was 112 new cases of hypertension and in 2020 increased to 150 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sodium consumption and physical activity with the incidence of hypertension. Quantitative research design, cross sectional study approach. The population is all coastal communities aged 18-50 years in the Lemo-Lemo Environment, Bombana Regency as many as 180 people and a sample of 64 people obtained by Simple Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test and Fisher Exact. The results obtained p value of 0.014 for the relationship of sodium intake with the incidence of hypertension, p value of 0.018 for the relationship of physical activity with the incidence of hypertension, The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between sodium consumption and physical activity with the incidence of hypertension. The suggestion of this research is for the coastal community of the Lemo-Lemo environment, to limit the consumption of salted fish, shrimp and shell. For the government of the Lemo-Lemo Environment, to provide education related to the prevention of hypertension through limiting foods that are high in sodium and for further researchers, to analyze other factors that cause hypertension such as macronutrient intake, family history, stress factors, age and obesity factors.
