Abstract

Abstract: This research was designed to describe the students’ ability incomprehending English texts. The aim was to find out students ability in comprehendingthe text. This descriptive research took place in SMAN 1 Benai in March 2016. Thesample was 40 students from XI IPA3 class that took by using cluster random sampling.In collecting the data, there were 30 questions that included in this test. The durationtime for doing the test was 90 minutes. The data was analyzed by calculating thestudents’ score individually and finding out the mean score. The students’ scoreclassified into five level mastery; they are: very poor, poor mediocre, good, andexcellent. The data was presented by using graphic. Based on the result finding of thisresearch, the students’ ability in comprehending English texts at second year of SMAN1 Benai was in good level. Meanwhile, the mean score of the whole students’ scores was62.2.Keywords: Students’ Ability, Comprehending English Texts

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran Profil kriminal pelaku pembunuhan berencana dan faktor yang melatarbelakangi terjadi pembunuhan berencana dengan menggunakan teori O’Toole (1999). Subjek dalam peneliti ini ada tiga orang yang merupakan narapida kasus pembunuhan berencana yang sedang menjalankan vonis hukuman di Lapas Bangkinang. Ketiga subjek ini akan dianalisa dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran profil kriminal pelaku pembunuhan berencana bisa dilihat dari ciri-ciri fisik, demografis, motivasi, gaya hidup, fantasi, proses seleksi korban, prilaku sebelum membunuh dan prilaku sesudah melakukan pembunuhan. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaku pembunuhan berencana berasal dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang merupakan faktor utama terjadinya pembunuhan berencana.

Abstract

Performance of the company can be seen from two parts, namely financial performance and market performance. The Market Performent This study is  to examine  the effect of managerial ownership, investment decisions, and dividend policy to  market performance. Samples in this study are  manufacturing companies listed  on Indonesia Stock Exchange that provide dividends from  2013 until 2015. Samples were taken by using the technique of puposive sampling, the data were analyzed by using Panel Data Regresion method. The results showed that managerial ownership (KP) has a regression coefficient value of 0.173 and t count of 0.594 with probability  value 0.555> 0 So concluded managerial ownership has no significant effect to market performance , The results show that investment decision (PER) Has a regression coefficient value of 0,214 dan thitung 2,931 With probability value of 0,005 <0,05 , Dividend Policy (DPR) regression coefficient value of -0,187 and  thitung -3,422 With probability value of 0,001 <0,05 The results show that investment decision has positive and significant effect to market performance and dividend policy has negative and significant effect to market performance. Keywords: Managerial Ownership, Investment Decision, Dividend Policy, Market Performance

Abstract

Banking is a financial institution that has an important role in the economic system in Indonesia. Economic development cannot be separated from the banking sector and various factors that can influence it. This study aims to examine the effect of third-party funds, capital adequacy and credit risk toward bank profitability. The sample used in this study are banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and not experiencing delisting during the 2013 to 2015 observation period. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis it can be concluded that third-party funds and capital adequacy partially have a positive and significant impact on profitability. Meanwhile, credit risk partially has a negative and significant effect on profitability

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh Nilai Pelanggan dan Relationship Marketing dalam membangun Kepuasan Pelanggan melalui Citra Merek sebagai variabel interverning keripik balado bintang jaya 4 x 7 Padang.Metode yang digunakan adalah Structur Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Partial Least Square (PLS).Dengan mengedarkan kuesioner sebanyak 85 responden. Hasil analisis datamenimpulkan, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara variabel.nilai pelanggan terhadap variabel citra merek. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel relationship antara variabel citra merek. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel relationship marketing terhadap variabel kepuasan pelanggan.sedangkan variabel nilai pelanggan tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kepuasan pelanggan. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel nilai pelanggan terhadap variabel kepuasan pelanggan melalui variabel citra merek.Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel relationship marketing terhadap variabel kepuasan pelanggan melalui variabel citra merek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan manufaktur go publik yang terdaftar di Bursa efek Indonesia (BEI). Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa model regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan alat bantu software SPSS versi 15.0. Multikolinearitas, Determinasi (R2), Uji-f dan Uji-t dilakukan untuk membuktikan kebenaran hipotesis dengan level signifikan 5%. Dari hasil penelitian di dapat persamaan : Y = -1448,005+ 37,59x1 + 837,895X2. ROE diperoleh nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 37,590 menyatakan bahwa kenaikan ROE sebesar Rp.1 maka total harga saham akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 37,590 dengan asumsi variabel dividen Konstan. Dividen diperoleh nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 837,895 menyatakan bahwa kenaikan Dividen  sebesar Rp.1 maka total harga saham akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 837,895 dengan asumsi variabel ROE konstan. Key Word : Return On Equity, Dividend, Harga Saham

Abstract

This research aim for PT. Toyota Astra Motor to know how much the influences of Brand Image and Promotion simultsneously and partialy in  Purchasing Decision.  The method of data collection used is  in the form of questionnaire. The analysis methods used are simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.   Based on the Partial Test (Test t) test results of the regression coefficient, Brand Image has t count &gt; t table (3,919&gt;1,990) which means there is a significant influences between Brand Image and Purchasing Decisions. Promotion has a t count &gt; t table (5,190&gt;1,990), which means there is a significant influences between Promotion and Purchasing Decisions. Then, based on simultaneous test (Test F) can be determined F count  value 557,229 &gt; F table  value of 2,71 which means the variable Brand Image, and Promotion significantly influence the Purchasing Decisions variables. And based on koefisien test determination (R2) the value is 0,942. it indicates  the persentage of the contribution variable Brand Image, and Promotion to ward Purchasing Decisions is at 94,2%. the residue is 6,8% influenced by other variables which is not included in the studied variables. Keywords: Purchasing Decisions, Brand Image, and Promotion

Abstract

This research was conducted on the Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2010-2014. This study aims to determine how much influence the Efficiency of working capital (x_1) and Solvency (X_2) partially and jointly to Profitability (Y) using the method of data collection in the form of literature, scientific papers, previous research. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research hypothesis I denied, where Working Capital Efficiency has a value of t &lt;t table (-0.259 &lt;1.688) with a significant level of 0.797&gt; 0.05, meaning a partial no significant effect between Profitability Efficiency Working Capital. Hypothesis 2 received, which has Solvency t&gt; t table (3.258&gt; 1.688) with a significant level of 0.002 &lt;0.05, meaning that there is a partial positive and significant influence between the Solvency Profitability. Simultaneous test (F test) can be seen calculated F value of 6.270 with 2.866 F table so that F count&gt; F table (6.270&gt; 2.866) with significant 0.002 &lt;0.05, then Ho is rejected. This means that there is significant influence between the Efficiency of working capital and solvency to Profitability with multiple linear regression equation is: Y = -2.964 - 0.048 X1 + If the variable Efficiency Working Capital and Solvency its value is zero (0), then the profitability of its value is equal to -2.964. Keywords: Efficiency Working Capital, Solvency and Profitability.

Abstract

Pelita Kita is a trading company that sells woods, windows frame, doors, panels and various types of processed woods. Using environmental analysis, the present study seeks to examine the formulation of business strategy as an effort to create a competitive advantage. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires and then analyzed using the following matrices: IFE, EFE, CPM, TOWS, IE, and SPACE. The results of analysis revealed that the studied company may employ some alternative strategies such as market penetration and market development to compete. It is also concluded that market penetration is more preferable because it has a greater total value of attraction compared to other strategies.
