Abstract

This study aims to analyze the empowerment carried out by PT Pindad using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study are that PT Pindad has empowered 45 micro and small business partners. The form of empowerment that has been carried out is in the form of training to improve the quality of human resources, providing business capital assistance, and marketing of production results through the participation of UMK in defense industry exhibition events. Currently PT Pindad's TJSL program focuses on the industrial, trade, service and livestock sectors. In the future, this may be devoted to the upstream industry, namely UMK which is engaged in the defense industry so that the UMK products fostered can be directly utilized as a supply chain for PT Pindad in the company's raw materials.

Abstract

The development of an independent defense industry in a country will have an impact on its Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is the sum of the value of goods and services produced by all sectors of the nation's economy at the end of a given year. PT Pindad (Persero) operates in two locations, one in Bandung, West Java, where it manufactures various industrial goods, special function vehicles, and defense equipment, and the other in Turen, Malang, where it manufactures explosive materials and grenades. PT Len Industri (Persero) So far, Len has developed businesses and products in the field of electronics for industry and infrastructure and has demonstrated various experiences in the field of electronics for defense, both land, sea and air. Radar, Radio Tactics, Combat Management System (CMS) on warships, are some of the mainstay products in the defense business spectrum. The method used to write the article relates to the dialectic of descriptive-qualitative research through desk research. with the status of BUMN, PT Pindad (Persero) will deposit its business profits to the State Treasury as Non-Tax State Revenue (PNPB), while VAT, Income Tax, and Customs Value are obtained through state revenue from taxes. These revenues will then be treated with other State Revenues to obtain realization in the form of APBN & APBD, and only the central and local governments can utilize them after that. Abstract

European countries are currently experiencing economic shocks. Uncontrollable economic downturn and continuously increase of inflation rate. Sweden as one of the European countries did not feel the impact of the recession significantly. Sweden managed to control its economy because it learned from the previous crisis. Some programs are designed to anticipate bad possibilities that will occur as a result of a crisis. Many studies say that Sweden is a European country that has a good crisis. This study aims to analyze how Sweden is dealing with the ongoing crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Russia's Ukraine war and the series of conflicts that are currently happening in the world which have an impact on the world economy. This research was conducted using qualitative methods that use some data from various credible sources and produce conclusions with appropriate facts. The results of this study found that Sweden has succeeded in suppressing the crisis in its country and maintaining the welfare of its people, although it has not been completely free from the effects of the recession and all the possibilities that will occur in the future.
