Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Division of Work affect the Performance of Employees at the Hotel Puri Lumbung Munduk Village and determine the ability of Employees to affect the Performance of Employees at the Hotel Puri Lumbung Munduk Village. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires. The sampling technique used in this study is Probability sampling. The respondents used were 68 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21 for windows.The results obtained based on the results of the study in multiple regression analysis obtained the results of the study the effect of the Division of Work (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) significant positive effect on Puri Lumbung Hotel, Munduk Village. From the results of the multiple linear regression equation it can be seen that the regression coefficient of the Work Distribution variable is 0.246 and is positive which means that if there is an increase in Work Distribution by one, it will cause an increase in Employee Performance by 0.246 assuming other variables in this equation are constant. Based on the results of the T test can be seen the value of the regression coefficient of the Division of Labor is equal to 0,000 with a significance of 0.05 and is supported by the calculation of the tcount of 4.023> from the table 1.669. While the results of the study the effect of Employee Ability (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) significantly positive effect on Puri Lumbung Hotel, Munduk Village. From the results of the multiple linear regression equation, it can be seen that the regression coefficient of the Employee Ability variable is 0.726 and is positive which means that if there is an increase in Employee Ability by one, it will cause an increase in Employee Performance by 0.726 assuming other variables in this equation are constant. Based on the results of the partial test T test data, showed that the regression coefficient of the Employee Ability variable (X2) was 0,000 with a significance of 0.05 and was supported by the calculation of the tcount of 5.195> from the table 1.669.

Abstract

The beginning of 2020 was an extraordinary event for the whole world. This is because almost all parts of the world are hit by the Covid-19 outbreak which causes unrest and has a big impact on every field. The COVID-19 pandemic makes people have to maintain their health by washing their hands, maintaining distance, not crowding, and maintaining cleanliness (Abidin, et al., 2021). Buhungo (2012) explained that environmental cleanliness is a condition where the environment is free from various kinds of dirt and disease that can cause losses to the community, both from activities and the environment. The condition of the COVID-19 pandemic forces every community to maintain cleanliness, both their personal hygiene and also the cleanliness of their environment. To provide assistance to the community, especially in the village of Kedisan Kintamani, the Faculty of Economics and BEM-FEB Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) Denpasar collaborate in holding community social activities which are also under the auangan of LP2M and the Dean of FEB UNDIKNAS. The community social activities were held with the theme "Economy Social Care". This activity aims to help the community around Kedisan Kintamani village in maintaining the cleanliness of their surrounding environment. Kondisi Pandemi covid-19 memaksa setiap kalangan masyarakat untuk tetap menjaga kebersihan, baik kebersihan dirinya dan juga kebersihan lingkungan mereka. Untuk memberikan bantuan pada masyarakat terutama pada desa Kedisan Kintamani, Fakultas Ekonomi dan BEM-FEB Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) Denpasar melakukan kolaborasi dalam mengadakan kegiatan sosial masyarakat yang juga berada dibawah nauangan LP2M berserta Dekan FEB UNDIKNAS. Adapun kegiatan sosial masyarakat tersebut diadakan dengan mengusung tema “Economy Social Care”. Kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan untuk membantu masyarakat sekitar desa Kedisan Kintamani dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekitar mereka.

Abstract

The importance of human resources in a company shows that companies must be able to manage and empower the human resources they have Empowering human resources in a company can be done in various ways. Some ways that can be done are to improve the performance of an employee through increasing the discipline and motivation efforts of employees. (Mangkunegara Anwar Prabu, 2009). PT Angkasa Pura I is one of the largest companies in Indonesia. The author himself is currently implementing a PKL program in this institution. The problem that the author sees happening is the lack of discipline and motivation of employees which has an impact on their performance in the company. The results to be achieved were not optimal. So inevitably there must be more improvements to evaluate the performance that has not been achieved by this agency. The purpose of this community service is to find out what efforts should be made by PT. Angkasa Pura I in increasing employee motivation and performance through the implementation of a work shift system. Improving performance can be done in various ways, one of which is by applying work discipline. Because from what the author sees, work discipline at PT Angkasa Pura is still not optimal and because of the lack of work discipline, the performance of employees is still less productive even though it should be improved again.

Abstract

Cv. Banyu Spa is currently in a state of leadership regeneration. There are differences in leadership styles from new leaders and a generational gap between leaders and employees, it is not uncommon for misunderstandings to occur. This study is intended to investigate the role of leadership style, emotional intelligence, and organizational communication on employee performance through mixed methods approach. The population consists of 32 people using a saturated sample. The research informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 5 informants. The research findings have succeeded in proving that a democratic leadership style can improve employee performance. Emotional intelligence through controlling emotions and being sensitive to other feelings is found to be able to motivate employees and produce optimal performance. Organizational communication that runs effectively was found to be able to improve employee performance, but upward communication was identified as not being implemented properly due to gaps in positions that caused employees to be reluctant to communicate directly with leaders. Current study able contribute positively to the human resources literature and practically to Cv. Banyu Spa Bali to improve their emotional intelligence, get closer to employees and adapt their leadership style to the existing circumstances.
