<![CDATA[Blok M district which was born as ‘market’, exists and lives sustainably from the existence of the Blok M Terminal. However, due to physical and social terms that have changed time by time, the terminal as the heart of the district has actually weakened. This condition began with the waning of the existence of Blok M Mall, which is defined as a terminal gateway, which is also known as the first underground mall in Indonesia. Then, what will happen if the existence of this terminal gate is lost? To prevent this possibility, a conservation plan is proposed as a protection and management measure for the terminal gate, which is interpreted as a connecting corridor between the terminal and the district. Conservation of the corridor gate of Blok M terminal is carried out on the basis of redefining the meaning of the presence of Blok M Mall as the terminal gate of Blok M district itself. The conditions and problems that occur are evaluated on a macro basis, which are then marked as disease points that have an impact on the movement system of Blok M district. The proposed conservation step will be a process that runs according to the rules of the urban acupuncture method, with the aim and purpose of reviving the Blok M terminal gate. so that the flow of human distribution in the area is not hampered. Urban acupuncture is defined as the healing process of a degraded area, by focusing on one point that is considered capable of sustaining the flow of an obstructed area. Namun, dikarenakan kondisi fisik dan sosial yang mulai berubah dari waktu ke waktu, terminal sebagai jantung kawasan ini justru melemah. Kondisi ini dimulai dari pudarnya eksistensi Blok M Mall, yang merupakan gerbang terminal dengan tipologi mall bawah tanah. Lantas, apa yang akan terjadi apabila eksistensi gerbang terminal ini hilang? Untuk mencegah terjadinya kemungkinan tersebut, diajukan rencana konservasi sebagai langkah perlindungan dan pengelolaan terhadap gerbang terminal, yang dimaknai sebagai selasar penghubung antara terminal dengan kawasan. Konservasi selasar gerbang terminal Blok M dilakukan dengan dasar mendefinisikan ulang makna akan kehadiran Blok M Mall sebagai gerbang terminal kawasan Blok M itu sendiri. Kondisi dan permasalahan yang terjadi dievaluasi secara makro, yang kemudian ditandai sebagai titik penyakit yang berdampak pada sistem pergerakan kawasan Blok M. Langkah konservasi yang diajukan akan menjadi sebuah proses yang berjalan sesuai kaidah metode urban acupuncture, dengan maksud dan tujuan untuk menghidupkan kembali gerbang terminal Blok M, sehingga alur penyebaran manusia pada kawasan tidak terhambat.
