Abstract

This study aims to determine the MINING POLICY CONFLICT: Recruitment of Local Workers in Morosi Industrial Estate, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The focus of the study is to find the design of mining policies and the impact of mining as well as the adoption model for the application of mining policies in the recruitment of local workers in the Morosi Industrial Estate. This type of research is qualitative with an analytical descriptive design, used to collect data by researchers and present descriptive data with in-depth analysis. This research was conducted in the administrative area of the Morosi Industrial Estate which is within the territory of the Konawe Regency Government of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The results of the study explain that the Konawe Regency Government is able to take advantage of opportunities to increase regional economic growth even during the Covid-19 pandemic by opening up investment opportunities and massive employment through collaboration with PT. VDNI and PT. OSS. The dynamics of mining conflicts in the recruitment of local workers can be minimized so that the Konawe Regency Government and the Konawe people feel that it is a reduction in unemployment and poverty. Furthermore, currently, the adaptation that can be done by the Konawe Regency Government is to increase the competence of the local community of prospective workers according to the needs of mining companies

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the work environment and employee performance at the Mental Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were analyzed using an interactive model according to Miles, Huberman & Saldaña (2014) in (Elwan et al., 2022). The results of the study show that the implementation of the work environment for employees of the Mental Hospital in Southeast Sulawesi Province, both physical and non-physical work environment, has made a positive contribution to achieving success in carrying out a job for all employees. Likewise with the condition of the non-physical work environment supports a harmonious working relationship through good communication between employees in the Mental Hospital of the Province of Southeast Sulawesi. Employee performance at the Mental Hospital of the Province of Southeast Sulawesi can already be stated as good according to employee performance indicators, namely timeliness of work, compliance with work rules and systems, satisfactory quantity and quality of work, completion of work, and good morale, effective relations and communication, able to contribute and added value as well as responsibility for organizational assets.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the relationship between the bureaucracy and the company PT. Jhonlin Batu Mandiri in Bombana Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique uses the opinion of Miles, Huberman & and Saldaña (2014) with an interactive model starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results that have been obtained regarding bureaucratic relations and plantation companies which result in power politics in local government agencies that collaborate with entrepreneurs through clientelistic relations and market relations. As a result, in the regional relations position, bureaucratic and company cooperation occurred for the benefit of village infrastructure development, and in the market relations position, there was a claim for community plantation land from PT. Jhonlin Batu Mandiri in Tinabite Village, Lantari Jaya District, Bombana Regency. Market relations are short-term relations that are developed through the issue of company political promises to land owners, resulting in supply and demand
