This research approach is a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research. The population in this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba. The sample was all students in class VIII B and class VIII C, with 22 students each taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument in the form of essay questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. (1) The control class pretest results have a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the control class posttest results have a percentage of 4.5% in the very low category. (2) The experimental class pretest results had a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the experimental class posttest results obtained were 13.6% in the medium category. (3) The results of the inferential analysis showed that the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model affected the mathematical critical thinking abilities of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model on students' mathematical representation abilities. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design research design with a design form, namely a non-equivalent control group design. The sample chosen was 56 students from a population of 111 students at SMA Negeri 11 Bulukumba, using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using tests to assess mathematical representation abilities, observations to determine the implementation of learning scenarios and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests and inferential statistical tests. The research results show differences in the mathematical representation abilities of students who use the Student Facilitator and Explaining model with students who are taught using direct learning. The Student Facilitator and Explaining Learning Model effectively improves the mathematical representation abilities of class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 11 Bulukumba.

Abstract

This research aims to develop student worksheets based on a scientific approach to material on linear equations and inequalities with one variable that are valid, practical and effective. The development model used is the ADDIE model which consists of the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The test subjects in this research were 28 Class VII students at MTsN 1 Binamu Jeneponto. The instruments used in this research were validation sheets, LKPD implementation observation sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, student activity observation sheets, learning management observation sheets, and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, the validation results obtained for the LKPD and other instruments are 3.6 which is included in the "very valid" category. Furthermore, the level of practicality of LKPD is seen based on the average percentage for the implementation of LKPD which has an average of 1.7 with the category completely implemented, for student responses the average percentage is 93% with the very good category, and for teacher responses the percentage is average. 93% in the very good category. The level of effectiveness of the LKPD is seen based on the average for the ability to manage learning which has an average of 3.6 in the good category, for student activity the percentage has an average of 87% in the very active category, and for the learning outcomes test has an average score of 83 in the category tall. Thus, it can be concluded that the LKPD that has been developed and tested meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the process of developing teaching materials (modules) as well as the degree of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching materials (modules) based on open-ended on equations and quadratic functions of class X at SMAN 8 Bone. This research is classified as development research (Research and Development) and follows the 4D development approach (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The validation sheet, teacher and student response questionnaire, student activity observation sheet, teacher ability to manage learning observation sheet, and learning outcome test were used in this study. The process of making teaching materials (modules) is divided into four stages, namely the definition stage, design stage, development stage, and distribution stage. Data were collected from product trials to determine whether the product met the criteria of a good product or not. After assessment and development, the quality of the teaching materials (modules) produced is considered very valid with an average validator answer of 4.4. While the teacher response questionnaire shows the practicality of teaching materials (modules) with an average of 92.5% and the competence of instructors to manage learning with an average of 3.8 in the good category. The questionnaire can also be used to assess the effectiveness of teaching materials (modules). The positive student response was 83%, student activity was 81% with a very good category, and the results of the analysis of the learning outcomes test obtained a percentage of student learning completeness of 90.3% and a percentage of completeness of 90.3%. 9,7%. The results of these measurements indicate that the teaching materials have met the standards, so they can be used.

Abstract

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of learning tools, the entire learning process has been planned in these learning tools. This study aims to produce a contextual-based mathematics learning tool on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with reference to the 4-D Thiagarajan model, namely: (1) the define stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the develop stage, and (4) the disseminate stage. The instruments used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, observation sheets for device implementation, and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the validation of the experts, the products developed and the instruments used for each aspect were in the "valid" to "very valid" category on average. In the field trial, it was found that: (1) the instrument used to measure the practicality found that the device developed was carried out well, the average value of all aspects of the observation was carried out and the response questionnaire analysis was in the "positive" category (2) the instrument for measuring the effectiveness The data obtained from the test of learning outcomes with an average score of students reaching 83.3%, student activity was as expected, and observations of learning management were in the high category. So that this study produces a contextual-based mathematics learning tool product on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective.
