Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of cognitive development of children in Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten in group B1 children are still low and have difficulty distinguishing color changes that occur when mixed, teachers often have difficulty making children interested, focused, serious and concentrated when learning the introduction of science. Based on observations of simple science activities at TK Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Mataram, several problems were found, mainly in the field of cognitive development in terms of scientific activities and the various forms of results obtained were always below the expected standard so that the problem formulation of this research was how simple science activities could improve developmental abilities. cognitive abilities of children in Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Mataram Kindergarten in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. This study aims to determine children's simple science activities in improving cognitive development abilities in group B children at Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Kindergarten Mataram. The steps for implementing the activities carried out are as follows: 1, playing environment footing 2, stepping before playing 3, stepping during play 4, stepping after playing, and the last one is the final activity or closing activity. This research is a development research with three stages of development, each of which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and development analysis. Research data on children's cognitive abilities were collected using observation and documentation methods. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis method. Based on the results of the study showed that the steps of simple science activities in the first stage of development reached an average (34%), while in the second development stage it began to increase with an average value of 72%). And increased optimally in stage III with a percentage (87%). The results of this study are suggested to school administrators, teachers, and other researchers who can benefit from simple science activities. Thus, the results of this study can be concluded that simple science activities carried out with appropriate steps can develop the cognitive abilities of children in group B1 in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 01

Abstract

Physical development is closely related to gross motor development. To develop gross motor skills, it can be developed through the Jump Rope Game. This research was motivated by the results of observations at Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten related to the gross motoric development of children who are still not optimally developed. Based on the facts in Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten, it shows that 7 out of 10 children still have not developed their gross motor skills, while the remaining 3 children show that their gross motor skills are quite developed, so the problem formulation of this study is how to develop gross motor skills through jumping rope games in group B1 in Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten in the 2017/2018 Academic Year. The purpose of this study was to find out that the jump rope game can develop the gross motor skills of children in group B1 at Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten in the 2017/2018 academic year. This type of research is development research. The subjects in this study were 10 children consisting of 6 girls and 4 boys. The method used to collect data is the method of observation and documentation method as well as data analysis using quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that in the development stage I reached an average value of 54.83% while in the development stage II it began to increase with an average value of 66.7% and increased optimally in the third development stage with a percentage of 85.21%. . Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the jump rope game performed with the right steps can develop gross motor skills in children in group B1 at Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten Mataram.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations at PAUD Tanwirul Qulub Mataram, related to the introduction of children's letters such as not yet recognizing letters and often confused about the letter b with letter d, letter p with letter q, and letter a with letter e. To overcome this, a fun learning media is needed so that the child's letter recognition develops optimally. The purpose of this study was to find out how to apply playing activities using the right word cards and pictures to introduce letters to group B children at PAUD Tanwirul Qulub Mataram. This type of research uses three stages of development. The subjects of the study were kindergarten children in group B2 aged 5-6 years, totaling 15 people. Data collection techniques using observation methods and data analysis using qualitative descriptive techniques. The steps in playing word and picture cards are: (a) introducing word and picture card games, (b) telling children how or steps in playing word and picture cards by practicing directly, (c) observing children's development during the game. , and (d) conduct discussions and evaluations. The results showed that the average results of student observations in learning to recognize children's letters using word cards and pictures increased from development I, which was 55.50%, development II, 68.60%, and the average percentage in development III was 84, 93% with an increase of 13.10% indicates an increase that occurs in development I to development II and 16.33% indicates an increase from development II to development III. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that using word cards and pictures can introduce letters to kindergarten group B2 children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Tanwirul Qulub Mataram.
