Abstract

Abstract

The Hospital Nursing Management Information System is very important in supporting operations, management and decision making. The management information system in hospitals is strengthened by Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 82 of 2013 concerning hospital management information systems. Decision making must be based on data and information entered in a valid information system. This study aims to determine the implementation of information systems at Sari Mutiara Hospital Lubuk Pakam. This study used qualitative analysis and interviewed users of hospital information system services consisting of 1 person in charge of providing information and handling hospital complaints, 1 non-medical officer, three executors and ten information users (patients). . The results of the study show that the benefits of a data-integrated and standardized information system with Ina-CBgs coding are very much needed in decision making. The results show that it is necessary to improve the facilities and infrastructure that support a stable internet network and the implementation and monitoring of evaluation of complaints from hospital information system administrators.

Abstract

The government has mandated that the JKN single-class system will be implemented in 2024. Currently, the Standard Inpatient Class at the Pratama Nusantara Health Medan Clinic (KRIS) has not been put into effect. The lack of implementation may be due to insufficient awareness, infrastructure, facilities, and workforce. To assess the readiness of the Pratama Nusantara Medan Clinic, this study examines its internal and external preparedness through qualitative research methods. The researcher's subjectivity is acknowledged, and data validity is ensured through triangulation methods, such as time extension, source triangulation, and data collection method triangulation. The study participants include the Head of the Clinic, the Health Services Section, the Jang Medium Section of Pratama Nusantara Health Clinic, Finance, and Patients. The data analysis employs SWOT, Fishbone, and VUCA models. The findings suggest that the Pratama Nusantara Medan Clinic is capable of adhering to the KRIS guidelines provided by DJSN. The Clinic's efforts to conduct outreach, maintain good patient relationships, enhance infrastructure, and expand inpatient buildings demonstrate its commitment to this policy and its positive impact on society.

Abstract

Chronic malnutrition in children of growing age affects stunting cases. Based on data from the infant nutritional status survey in Indonesia in 2021, 25.5% was found in Mandailing Natal Regency at 47.7%, Deli Serdang Regency at 12.5% while in Medan city, the number of stunting cases was 19.9%. The purpose of the study was to analyze the problematic nutrition of stunting cases in children aged 1-2 years. The type of research method used in this research is qualitative with data collection carried out by interview techniques and literature studies at several health centers and hospitals in the Medan city area. The research data obtained from a total of 17 toddlers who have 1-2 years of age found there are 6 children (2.8%) toddlers who have stunting disease, risk factors that cause stunting are caused by a lack of nutrition or nutritional needs in toddlers in the womb until the growth period of 1-2 years, this will have a major impact on child growth and development.

Abstract

Paper production is currently important for various community needs due to the use in daily life. The aim of this study is to produce paper cellulose-based extracted from Nata de Coco with the addition of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as an adhesive. The paper was produced by using pulp method followed by ultrasonication with variation of ultrasonication from 10 min, 20 min, to 30 min. The sample was characterized in terms of functional groups and mechanical properties. The results showed that the longer the ultrasonication time, the lower the mechanical value. The highest tensile test was obtained at 10 min of ultrasonication with the value of 5.036 MPa.

Abstract

This research is the manufacture of bio-charcoal briquettes derived from the results of pyrolysis of coconut industrial solid waste as well as an analysis of the effect of adhesive concentration on the research results of bio-charcoal briquettes. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of making bio-charcoal briquettes, the quality of the bio-charcoal briquettes and to determine the effect of the adhesive concentration used on the bio-charcoal briquettes as a result of the research. Research has been carried out on processing coconut shell and coconut coir waste with starch adhesive materials using the mixing and printing method with PVC pipes and drying in an oven with a temperature of 90–100 ºC ± 3 hours. Furthermore, the bio-charcoal briquettes were characterized based on the provisions of SNI No.01/6235/2000 which included moisture content, ash content, volatile matter content, bound carbon content, density, specific gravity, burning rate, compressive strength, calorific value with optimum values respectively 11 .46%, 3.81%, 17.60%, 77.26%, 1.2 gr/cm 3 , 1.2× 10 -6 Kg/m 2 .s 2 , 0.108 g/min, 80.680 % , 6,200 cal/g. Bio-charcoal briquettes were also tested for DTA and TGA for bio-charcoal briquettes using adhesive and without adhesive with successive values of -223.20 cal/g, -22.615%, -206.20 cal/g and -29.075%. The best quality bio-charcoal briquettes are found in briquettes with a mixture of 90% charcoal and 10% starch adhesive.
