Abstract

This study aims to find out about the regional spatial design in the city of Padang Panjang which is based on technology in the 5.0 era. As well as knowing the meaning and function of the Padang Panjang city regional library. The results of this study indicate the spatial design of the Padang Panjang regional library which takes an innovative approach to the development of technology facilities and infrastructure with the aim of developing literacy and illiteracy rates in society. In this 5.0 era, the layout design of the library continues to require development, both in upgrading the layout of the library as well as in adding library technology facilities. The role of libraries in the 5.0 era which continues to undergo transformation according to the vision and mission of digital libraries to remain a permanent information service provider that an existence among library users.

Abstract

Waste is the most common problem in everyday life. Waste that is scattered and piled up can become a hotbed of disease, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. In this study purpose to design and build a trash can works automatically. The method in design and build an automatic trash can is using waterfall method. The trash can designed using Arduino Uno microcontroller, HC-SR04 sensor and SG90 servo motor. The automatic trash can works is to detect the distance then processed by the arduino microcontroller and so SG90 servo motor will move to open and close the trash can automatically. The result of this research is that the design of the trash can can be opened with an object distance of less than 50 cm and will close for pause of 5 seconds.
