Abstract

The existence of this research is motivated by the lack of proficiency in early childhood in recognizing and sorting numbers. An effort that can be done is to use a smart board. This use is intended to help facilitate early childhood in improving their cognitive abilities. This study aims to help children aged in the development of cognitive skills through the method of matching numbers on a smart board. This study uses a qualitative method in a descriptive way. The results of the study show that the smart board method can help children to optimize their cognitive skills, the achievement of this method is quite good. The results of this study can be used as an alternative to the selection of models in the development of children's cognitive abilities about numbers.

Abstract

This paper is purposed to find out the role of parents to overcome the problem of dropping out of school in children and how parents deal with the problems. this research using descriptive qualitative methods based on literature review. The family is the first place for children to get education. Parents are the first and main role for children's education to support growth and development that determines their future. parents also have an important role to prevent, control, and coaching. Based on the reading results obtained, it can be concluded that the way parents deal with the problem of dropping out of school in children is establish a good communication and also invite children to discuss in two directions, then provide a motivate so that children have a strong determination in carrying out their education to a higher level.
