Abstract

Political rights of citizen are an important aspect of Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI). However, in the 2014 Election, this aspect, particularly IDI of West Java, showed the lowest number. One of the efforts have been made by Election organizers to fulfill the political rights of citizen is to make accessibility as the principle of Election through Election Commission Regulation (PKPU). This study addresses why the aspect of the fulfillment of political rights of citizen is low in IDI; and how the principle of accessibility in to fulfill political rights of citizen is being implemented. The corpus of this study is document of IDI West Java Province and information of online media. The results indicate that; first, the implementation of the fulfillment of the political rights of citizen in the 2014 Election in West Java had a number of obstacles, namely the regulation of the accessibility principle is still limited; the lack of data of persons with disabilities; and the weakness of Election organizers concerning voters with disabilities. And secondly, efforts to implement the principle of accessibility by Election organizers are mostly concentrated in the election period implementation process, while the implementation process of the pre-election and post-election periods tends to be ignored.

Abstract

This article is the result of a research-based community service aimed to describe, identify and reveal how the management of political parties at the lower level that can ensure the actualization of its functions. Political parties are attached to the functions of political education that can create a political literacy society. That is people who are politically knowledgeable and politically empowered. Communities that can participate actively in any political activities of society, nationality and statehood. However, there are still many political blind people who are easily mobilized or even politically marginalized. This is for example found in coastal communities. That fact is possible because: first, geographically coastal tends to be a periphery; secondly, the optimal functioning of coastal political parties as a means of political education; And third, the lack of activities of coastal political parties that empower the community. Training and management of political party management becomes an action strategy and a choice of method of devotion. The corpus of community service is the management of political parties and coastal community leaders in Cikelet Sub-district, Garut. This community service applies management theories, political literacy and good governance. Based on the theories and methods, this community service indicates that trainees and assistance can improve capacity, capability and sensitivity for guaranteeing synergy of political party functions with the political literacy of coastal communities.

Abstract

This article, as the title suggests, is to examine the ideas and concepts of obedience to Muslim leadership from Islamic Political Thought. Using qualitative methods and content analysis techniques, this article raises other issues involved such as the discussion of obedience to ideals and reality. it is certain that Islam has asserted that those who are entitled to be obeyed are Allah SWT, Prophet Muhammad SAW and the best and pious Muslim leaders (uli al-amr, Imam, Khalifah, Wali, Wasi, 'Alim). and Amir) at any time. Islam also states that following such a leader means following the truth.

Abstract

Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) and Polisi Republik Indonesia (Polri) are two state law enforcement institutions. Indeed both institutions can carry out the organization of law enforcement, particularly in combating corruption, in shoulder to shoulder. But less than a decade, both institutions practice it often indicates that fights enemy volumes. The aims of the sstudy in this paper is to identify, to analyze, and to formulate how the KPK-Polri has a relations in a configured-usurpation than shoulder to shoulder in law enforcement. The corpus study is a series of events conflicts KPK vs Polri Volume III, triggered by the determination of Commissioner General Budi Gunawan as a suspect and arrest event Widjojanto by the Police as well as efforts to make the entire leadership of the KPK suspects. This study indicates the charge contestation or dispute the power ini law enforcement eradication of corruption. The indicators include conjoined twins jurisdictions, law enforcement power struggle, and political events set in law.

Abstract

Film merupakan media yang menggambarkan praktik wacana melalui penanaman kekuasaan dan ideologi. Oleh karena itu, film selalu berada dalam ruang persaingan praktik pendefinisian, pemosisian dan pengontrolan khalayak. Munculnya film-film religi bertema Islam di Indonesia juga tidak terlepas dari praktik wacana tersebut. Lebih dari satu dekade, film religi yang bercerita tentang Islam dan dinamikanya telah mampu memberikan warna bagi dunia perfilman dan juga bagi perkembangan Islam itu sendiri. Kajian dalam tulisan ini merupakan perluasan kajian tentang teks film yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisis dan merumuskan bagaimana Islam dalam konteks persaingan politik Indonesia direpresentasikan melalui narasi film. Korpus kajian adalah Film 212 the Power of Love yang memiliki latar belakang Aksi Bela Islam, 2 Desember 2016 (ABI). Islam yang dianalisis pada kajian ini mengkhususkan pada ekspresi keislaman tertentu, seperti sosial dan politik. Kajian ini menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis dari Theo van Leeuwen yang menyajikan model exclusion dan inclusion. Kedua model analisis ini umumnya sama-sama mengandung potensi promosi dan marginalisasi. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, Film 212 the Power of Love menyajian wacana Islam apolitis vs Islam apatis. Dan kedua, dengan wacana tersebut menjadi promosi atau legitimasi bagi semua pendukung ABI dan sekaligus marginalisasi bagi kelompok masyarakat anti ABI.
