Abstract

The Effect of Bran Type and Seed Derivatives on The Growth and Yield of Red Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus flabellatus). Jenis dedak dan turunan benih merupakan faktor yang berperan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur tiram merah (Pleurotus flabellatus). Jamur tiram dapat tumbuh alami atau dapat memanfaatkan media tanam serbuk kayu yang disebut baglog. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan jenis dedak, turunan benih dan kombinasi yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur tiram merah. Perlakuan terdiri atas dua faktor yang didesain dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Faktor pertama adalah jenis dedak yang terdiri atas dedak beras putih, dedak beras merah dan dedak gandum. Faktor kedua adalah turunan benih yang terdiri atas benih F2, benih F3 dan benih F4, semua perlakuan diulang lima kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh interaksi antara perlakuan jenis dedak dan turunan benih pada setiap variabel yang diamati, kecuali pada panjang tangkai tudung pada panen kedua dan keempat, diameter tudung pada panen pertama dan keempat. Jenis dedak beras merah dan turunan benih F2 menghasilkan berat segar jamur per baglog setiap panen tertinggi dari panen 1, 2, 3 dan 4 masing-masing yaitu 66,59 g, 64,77 g, 50,30 g dan 36,34 g. Jenis dedak beras merah dan turunan benih F2 memberikan hasil total panen berat segar jamur per baglog tertinggi yaitu 217,99 g.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the acceleration of the growth of Sengon Seedlings with a long treatment time of soaking the seeds planted in compost soil media. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Tabanan University. The study was conducted from July 2020 to October 2020, using the basic design of a factorial randomized block design (RAK) which was repeated three times. The treatment that was tried consisted of two factors, namely the immersion time factor and the compost planting media factor.The results showed that the interaction between the soaking time of Sengon seeds and the composition of the compost growing media had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the wet weight parameters of the underground plant parts and the oven-dry weight of the underground plant parts, significantly (P < 0 0.05) on the parameters of the total wet weight of the plant and the total dry weight of the plant, while the other parameters had no significant effect (P > 0.05). The highest total oven dry weight of the plant was produced by the interaction between the composition of the growing media: soil: sand: compost (1:1:2) and the soaking time of 12 hours (K2P2), which was 2.89 g, while the lowest was produced by the interaction between the composition of the growing media. soil:sand (1:1) with no soaking (K0P0) which is 0.25 g or an increase of 1056%.

Abstract

Eggplant is a vegetable group that is in great demand by various groups due to its delicious taste and high nutritional content and complete composition. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of eggplant growth and yield to the use of growing media and doses of organic fertilizers. The study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors, namely the planting medium which consisted of 4 levels, namely M0, M1, M2, M3 and the dose of organic fertilizer consisted of 4 levels, namely P0, P1, P2, P3.The results showed that the planting medium affected several parameters, including plant height (M1), number of leaves (M2), number of fruit (M3), and fruit weight (M2). And the organic fertilizer dose treatment significantly affected the parameters of the number of leaves (P2) and the number of fruits (P3).
