Abstract

Workshop Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) merupakan fasilitas digunakan untuk kegiatan praktikum, proses belajar mengajar dan lain sebagainya. Dari hasil observasi melalui pengukuran pada panel utama menggunakan alat ukur power quality analyzer diperoleh arus harmonik pada orde ke – 3 dan ke – 5 pada fasa S dan fasa T melebihi standar yang ditetapkan oleh IEEE 519 – 2014. Untuk menurunkan arus harmonik diusulkan penggunaan Double Tuned Filter. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh hasil penurunan arus harmonik pada masing – masing fasa, dimana fasa R orde ke – 3 yang semula sebesar 9,06 % turun menjadi 2,25 % dan orde ke – 5 semula 2,73 % turun menjadi 0,20 %. fasa S orde ke – 3 yang semula sebesar 14,97 % turun menjadi 2,41 % dan orde ke – 5 semula 5,22 % turun menjadi 0,24 %. fasa T orde ke – 3 yang semula sebesar 12,01 % turun menjadi 2,32 %.

Abstract

Trainer Lab Generator Sinkron satu dari beberapa peralatan praktikum mesin listrik di laboratorium konversi energi listrik Universitas Negeri Medan. Mesin listrik merupakan peralatan kelistrikan yang sangat banyak penggunaannya dalam kehidupan. Untuk menghasilkan energi listrik maka perlu dilakukan konversi energi yaitu mengubah energi mekanik menjadi energi listrik. Konversi energi mekanik menjadi energi listrik dilakukan oleh generator. Setelah dilakukan penelitian diperoleh THD arus yang muncul sebesar 82,1% pada tegangan sebesar 225 volt, arus 6,2 amp, daya aktif 600 watt, daya semu sebesar 1490 VA, daya reaktif 460 var, cosφ sebesar 0,83, dan frekuensi 50 Hz. Setelah disaring menggunakan single tuned passive filter THD yang muncul berhasil dikurangi menjadi 80,92%.

Abstract

Computers have helped humans work better and help in solving problems. Computers continued to evolve and innovation continued, starting with the first very large computers and evolving into the modern, commonly used desktops. When there is a problem with the computer device, such as damage to the computer components. Most people immediately take it to a computer repair service technician. An expert system is a component of artificial intelligence. In order for computers to solve issues in the same way that professionals do, expert systems attempt to incorporate human knowledge into computers. A single technique inside the expert system is the Dempster Shafer technique. The Dempster-Shafer technique is a mathematically based approach that incorporates uncertainty and features traits of expert thought. The research was carried out by detecting computer damage based on the sound that comes out when the BIOS performs a POST (Power On Self-Test) using the Dempster-Shafer method. Users can determine the kind of damage their machine has sustained without having to visit a computer repair service provider directly by using the Dempster Shafer approach.

Abstract

Air conditioning for residential comfort is important for human life for the early days of the changing weather climate that affects the temperature of the air temperature in residential dwellings. The air conditioning system is one of the business actions in the form of maintaining the temperature level in the room from the low level of the ambient temperature around it by absorbing heat from the material or room. The air conditioning load is also carried out to determine the AC capacity needed. Research conducted by the Glamour Mansion Tanjung Morawa Housing Complex using the method used is to calculate cooling capacity based on GA (General Arranggement) which includes several parameters, namely the number of people, number of windows, room volume, equipment, and heat from lights. So that the calculation of Heat Calculation, Air Capacity, and Cooling Capacity in a complex is obtained. From the results of the study it is known that the AC cooling load for the Glamour Mansion Tanjung Morawa Complex is the living room 1482 BTU / h, Room I 1953 BTU / h, Room II 800 BTU / h. 1 AC with a capacity of ½ PK in the room. 1 AC with a capacity of ½ PK in each room.
