Abstract

An increase in the number of elderly people is not only seen as success in health, but it is also a problem with family, society, and Government regarding the high number of life dependency that will cored with the burden The economy is borne by the productive population to support the elderly.Families living in modern times are mostly industrial humans. The family has a high daily mobility that prefer staying with the core family. The family has eliminated various characteristic functions that have served its members as well as the community. This increased activity resulted in several impacts among them. The abandonment of the elderly is not only through physical matters, but also attacks on emotional and financial psychological disorders.The cause of the elderly in the orphanage BPSLUT because of the modernization that looks very thick especially in the center of the cities, which is characterized by the many elderly who are in the living orphanage without the burden of the family. The increasing number of elderly trends is a phenomenon that must be accepted, and require adequate attention and handling from various parties.Culture in modern society has undergone a shift in customs, and norms are also shifting in groups and shifting characters. Families should give affection and care to the elderly as well as children to parents. In this reality the child has ignored and brought the parents to the orphanage. There are also families who intentionally let their parents live alone. So the elderly prefer to go to the orphanage in order to get a decent place to stay and can interact with other elderly people.Keywords: elderly, family, abandonment

Abstract

Lifestyle itself is a characteristic of a modern world, or commonly called modernity. Patterns of life that are considered worrying are, consumptive lifestyles that leave productive lifestyles. Consumptive is usually used to refer to consumer behavior that utilizes a value of money greater than the value of its production for goods and services that are not a basic need. The rapid growth of coffee shops in the city of Manado apparently also influenced changes in the lifestyle of young people, especially students. There is a striking difference between Mahasiawa's current lifestyle and previous generations. Students in the city of Manado now prefer to visit coffee shops rather than going to the mall.  Coffee shops are considered to have a more comfortable atmosphere and better interior decoration so that it attracts the interest of visitors who incidentally come from among students who have the habit of gathering and spending time with their peers. This research is located in the coffee shop "Van Omen" located in the city of Manado.  Activities carried out by students spend time at the Van Ommen coffee shop where activities that show a very diverse student lifestyle are carried out at the venue. Abstract

Lifestyle can be recognized by looking at how people spend their time (activity), what is important people consider on the environment (interests), and what people think of themselves and the world around (Opinion). Lifestyle is the behavior of a person shown in activities, interests and opinions, especially those related to self-image to reflect on his or her social status. In the community structure, college student are an intellectual generation that is expected to behave in accordance with good norms and values, have moral and knowledge, is also expected to be a development innovator in all aspects, so as to cleanse the inequality that exists in the community. The function that the college student has as Agent of change is an agent that can make changes and as Agent of social control is as an agent in charge of monitoring and control of the Government, to the policies and to other matters undertaken by the Government, all of which are done is none other than and not merely to keep the interests of the people and avoid the people of the wrongdoers committed by the government. Boarding house is a service that offers a room or a place to be settled with a certain amount of payment for each specific period (generally payment per month). So the college student lifestyle is influenced by certain values of religion, culture and social life. Sociolgy Fispol Unsrat college student choose to stay in strategic boarding house and close to campus, living with one campus friends, and close to educational facilities such as Internet café, computer rental, photocopy. Positive lifestyle, responsible, principles, self-reliant, such as doing college activities while having a side job, buying goods as needed, using technology for college needs, using simple room facilities, simple appearance, not easily affected by the outside environment and does not follow the lifestyle of hedonism and consumerism. Abstract

This study aimed to explain about the role of women inRambu solo ritual procession at Pitung Penanian village, Rantebua district, Toraja Utara regency. The author used qualitative research method that carried out by descriptiveits given concept and explanation properly about role of womenin rambu solo ritual procession at Toraja Utara and supported by primer data andsecondary data. Data collect technique that used was interview and observation. The result of the study shown that procession of Rambu solo ritual atTondon Mamullu village, Makale district, Toraja Utara regency from thepreparation, implementation until the funeral procession, the women also play arole and contribute. it can be shown by offering few of buffalos and pigs, andsome given groceries. The women also participated in family meeting to talkabout the heirs, the degree of tne ritual that will be held, the place of the ritual andprovide sacrificial animals. Abstract

Covid-19 has become a global problem and has a huge impact on all sectors of life around the world. Starting from the economic sector, health, education, social, tourism and so on. The steps taken by the government in reducing the number of spread of the Covid-19 virus are social distancing. Social distancing is an attempt by a person not to interact at close range or avoid crowds, wash their hands, and wear masks. This policy is considere effective in reducing the spread of COVID-19.North Toraja Regency is an area famous for the term "Tondok Lilina Lepongan Bulan Tana Matari Allo", which stores a variety of riches, both natural wealth and cultural and customs that always fill every space in traditional activities contained in the lives of local people. North Toraja Regency is also one of the most famous tourist destinations in Indonesia.During the Covid-19 pandemic Lolai tourist destinations or the Land above the Clouds and several other tourist attractions in North Toraja were temporarily closed to assist the government in preventing the spread of covid-19 for almost two months, thus impacting the weakening of tourism services and economic actors, weakening tourist visits, weakening the handling and processing of tourism destination objects, and weakening the support capacity of tourism facilities and accommodation. Keywords: pandemic, corona, tourism

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Dampak Pertambangan Emas Bagi Kehidupan Ekonomi Masyarakat Bolaang Mongondow Timur Di Kotabunan Kecamatan Kotabunan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. PETI (Pertambangan Emas Tanpa Izin) adalah pertambangan yang tidak mendapatkan izin dari pemerintah sebagai pemegang hak menguasai negara atas bahan tambang. Awalnya sebelum adanya pertambangan emas masyarakat  desa kotabunan bermata pencaharian sebagai petani dan nelayan, namun setelah adanya pertambangan masyarakat mulai berbondong-bondong ke lokasi pertambangan untuk mencari nafkah. Terdapat 3 sisi dampak yang diakibatkan oleh pertambangan ilegal, yaitu dampak ekonomi, lingkungan dan kesehatan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Dampak Pertambangan Emas Bagi Kehidupan Ekonomi Masyarakat Boltim di Kotabunan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur, mengakibatkan dampak ekonomi, lingkungan, dan kesehatan. Dampak ekonomi yang dirasakan adalah penghasilan ekonomi meningkat dari pada pekerjaan sebelumnya, peningkatan pekerjaan, para pekerja dapat membangun dan memperbaiki rumah, membuat warung, membeli kendaraan (sepeda motor dan mobil), dapat menabung untuk masa depan, mampu membiayai pendidikan atau sekolah anak-anaknya mulai sekolah dasar sampai ke perguruan tinggi, serta membantu sanak keluarganya secara finansial. Dampak Lingkungan kegiatan penambang yang tidak mengikuti kaidah-kaidah pertambangan yang benar, sehingga cenderung mengakibatkan kerusakan lingkungan, pemborosan sumber daya mineral dan kecelakaan tambang. Dengan status yang tampa izin,maka otomatis penambang tidak terkena kewajiban untuk membayar pajak dan punggutan lainya kepada negara. Dampak Kesehatan Pekerjaan menjadi penambang kurangnya keselamatan dalam mengerjakan pengangkatan material yang berat dan bekerja dengan posisi tubuh yang janggal di dalam lubang yang sempit mengakibatkan  luka pada bagian tubuh penambang. Perubahan dampak ekonomi masyarakat desa Kotabunan Kecamatan Kotabunan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur sebelum dan sesudah adanya pertambangan sangat berbeda masyarakat yang kehidupan nya pas-pasan menjadi sejahtera. Kata Kunci : Dampak Ekonomi, Pertambangan Emas, Kehidupan Ekonomi.
