Abstract

Communication media is seen as the right medium to influence the public in the process of delivering the taxpayer's message, so that the message conveyed can be well received by the public. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of the media in spreading the message of the taxpayer to the people in Kendari City. The results of the study show that the use of media in disseminating taxpayer messages uses 3 types of media, namely, Electronic Media consisting of television and radio, Print Media consisting of newspapers, billboards and banners, and Personal Media, outreach and exhibitions. From this study it resulted that in delivering promotional messages for taxpayers at KPP Pratama Kendari by using electronic media, namely television and radio and print media consisting of newspapers, billboards and banners, it was very effective in attracting the sympathy of taxpayers in Kendari City as well as the use of personal media, namely through exhibitions or expos and counseling is also very effective.

Abstract

The problem in this study is what is the meaning of the Cankano Pogau procession in the Muna marriage custom. The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of the Cankano Pogau procession in the Muna wedding custom. The benefits of this research are theoretically: this research is expected to add and broaden insights about the meaning of semiotics, practically: this research is expected to provide input to the community who will later become traditional leaders, methodologically: this research can be used as additional information material for researchers furthermore in order to enrich the results of research, especially regarding traditional marriages of the Muna people.The subjects in this study were traditional leaders and religious leaders as well as the local community who clearly knew about the Cankano Pogau procession. The technique of recruiting informants in this study was carried out by means of a purposive sampling technique, namely choosing deliberately by considering that the informant concerned knew and fully understood the essence of the problem, with a total of 8 informants. The data collected was analyzed using semiotic analysis.The results of this study indicate that the Muna people of Benua Nirae Village use the Cankankano Pogau Procession as a reference in a traditional marriage process. Based on the research that has been done, the meaning contained in the Cankankano Pogau procession is the Cankankano Pogau procession is a form of appreciation or respect for the male family to the female family in a Muna community marriage process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Kendari Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Teori strategi komunikasi digunakan untuk membedah permasalahan ini yaitu efektifitas komunikasi dapat dicapai jika dilakukan langkah; pengenalan khalayak, penyusunan isi pesan, penentuan teknik penyampaian pesan dan pemilihan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi komunikasi politik dilakukan melalui pengenalan khalayak dengan cara segmentasi, targeting, dan positioning, setelah itu dilakukan penyusunan isi pesan berupa produk politik yaitu janji program, past record atau catatan masa lalu. Pesan politik itu disampaikan melalui teknik penyampaian pesan yang sesuai dengan kondisi khalayak seperti teknik redundancy dan canalizing, selanjutnya adalah menentukan media sebagai penyalur pesan politik dan produk politik kontestan pemilu. media yang digunakan yaitu, media komunikasi langsung atau face to face, media cetak, media massa yaitu surat kabar, dan media sosial (facebook dan Instagram). Strategi komunikasi politik ini dijalankan dalam bentuk sosialisasi langsung atau melalui media komunikasi seperti media cetak, media massa, dan media sosial.
