Abstract

This scientificwork outlines the obstacles facing pesantren education in improving quality academic people in the global-multicultural era. Pesantren, global currents can cause paradox or symptoms of counter-morality, and so does the pattern of life in the west, even greatly affect the moral decay, moral and human behavior. With this condition, the influence is very large on human life both physical and spiritual. Thus pesantren education faced various challenges with the development of education models in the era of globalization implemented by members of the community, such as system problems, human resource problems, curriculum development. Therefore, in an effort to improve quality academic humanity in global-multicultural era, pesantren have problems to explore all the resources they have, because influenced by pesantren education is less concern to the problem, human resource problem, strong influence of western culture in domination and imperialisation of information, as well as the current culture of globalization can lead to paradox or symptoms of counter-morality. With this problem, pesantren is time to devote all the power, effort and ability to always innovate, finding something new can help his life for the better. If the pesantren does not dig all his skills then he will be left behind by the ever-evolving era.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the history of the Tabot tradition and the values of tolerance contained in the Tabot celebration in each month of Muharram in the Bengkulu Society. This research method uses qualitative and history methods, with data collection through documents, interviews, and observations to the perpetrators of the Tabot, traditional leaders, and the community around the Tabot event in Bengkulu. The results of this study indicate that; First, the Tabot tradition is related to the growth and development of Islam in Bengkulu, which was developed by a Shiite Islamic cleric from southern India named Syeh Burhanuddin who was later better known as Imam Senggolo, namely in the 18th century. He introduced the procedures of the Tabot ceremony to the people of Bengkulu, who then passed on to their descendants who assimilated with the people of Bengkulu. Secondly, the values of tolerance in the tabot ceremony every month in Muharram in Bengkulu include mutual respect, mutual respect, help, and cooperation. This is evidenced in the Tabot ceremony activities open to the public so that all people can follow it and do not side with a particular religion, ethnicity, and culture of a particular community, but embrace all the differences that exist. Tabot tradition activities are not only as a religious activity but also are expected to reduce the division of society and also non-Muslims in the city of Bengkulu.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap sejarah tradisi Tabot dan nilai-nilai toleransi yang terkandung di dalamnya di setiap bulan Muharram di Masyarakat Bengkulu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan sejarah, dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumen, wawancara, dan observasi terhadap para pelaku Tabot, tokoh adat, dan masyarakat di Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; Pertama, tradisi Tabot terkait dengan tumbuh kembang Islam di Bengkulu yang dikembangkan oleh seorang ulama Islam Syiah dari India selatan bernama Syeh Burhanuddin yang kemudian lebih dikenal dengan nama Imam Senggolo, pada abad ke-18. Ia memperkenalkan tata cara upacara Tabot kepada masyarakat Bengkulu, yang kemudian diwariskan kepada keturunannya yang berasimilasi dengan masyarakat Bengkulu. Kedua, nilai-nilai toleransi dalam upacara tabot setiap bulan Muharram di Bengkulu meliputi saling menghormati, saling menghormati, membantu, dan gotong royong. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dalam kegiatan Upacara Tabot yang terbuka untuk umum sehingga semua masyarakat dapat mengikutinya dan tidak berpihak pada agama, suku, dan budaya tertentu dari masyarakat tertentu, melainkan merangkul segala perbedaan yang ada. Kegiatan tradisi tabot tidak hanya sebagai kegiatan keagamaan tetapi juga diharapkan dapat mengurangi perpecahan masyarakat dan juga nonmuslim yang ada di kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

The study aims to find out and describe what percentage (%) of pedagogical competence controversy of Early Childhood Education teachers in the teaching and learning process to the policy of Indonesia National Education Ministry. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were observation, interview and questionnaire. The validity test used the product moment formula while the reliability test used Cronbach's alpha formula. The results of the study showed that mastering characteristics of students is 10,5%; mastering learning theories and learning principles that educating is 10%; curriculum development is 9,1%; learning activities that educating is 20,02%; potential development of students is 7,4%; communication with students is 4,5%; and evaluation and evaluation is 8,0%. It can be concluced that the biggest controversy was found in the mastery of educational learning activities while the smallest mastery of communication.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the model of character building of prospective marine transportation cadets in Malahayati Merchant Marine Polytechnic, Aceh, Indonesia. The research method used in this study was a qualitative method using a phenomenological research design. Through participatory action research, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, the data were found, which Miles and Huberman’s model used as data analysis. The data analysis process consisted of data reduction, data display, drawing conclusion/verification. The research result showed that character educational implementation of Merchant Marine Education in Aceh was conducted through (1) the instruction method, education, suggestion, persuasion, trusting, punishment, guidance and counseling, Habituation, group discussion, and organizational activities. The method implementation adjusted to the activities and educational cadet level starting from prospective cadet to senior cadet. (2) Method implementation intervention conducted through the hidden curriculum like moral knowing, moral feeling, moral action, and religiosity that manifests in five diversity dimensions: religious belief, religious practice,  religious feeling, religious knowledge, and religious effects. (3) Attitude nurture implementation conducted through local wisdom habituation that includes exemplary figures of leaders/coach/trainers/senior cadets, behavioral standards, and reflection studies. (4) Religious character educational implementation bears a resilient cadet profile who is smart, professional, skilled, and good. This research finding recommended the importance of religiosity and local wisdom in building the character of Hardiness.

Abstract

This article explains the dualism of the role of kiai pesantren (Islamic boarding school) in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera, as ulama and umara, which was later critically elaborated in this research on its implications to the pesantren education. Substantively, this research was inspired by the results of the study of the authors of the 2018 regional elections and ahead of the 2019 elections and presidential elections. The method of this writing can be categorized as qualitative research. The analysis in this paper is carried out on the basis of the concepts of space and field, especially to examine how far the kiai play religious teachings which they believe in social and political behavior in the midst of people’s lives. The results of this study indicate that the rise of kiai who are involved in the world of politics is full of intrigue and conflict among kiai-politicians. One important thing revealed in the involvement of kiai in the political world was that kiai were too close to power, so they used the pesantren for their political interests and made it an instrument for power. For a kiai of pesantren plus politicians, they should be able to carry out their two professions sincerely and istiqomah. If not, the influence of the kiai becomes meaningless, when his authority is deemed to have deviated from what he should have. As a result, many pesantren were abandoned and their development was very alarming. Because of differences in perspective in politics that lead to feuds between the interfaith and the pesantren that they foster.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak di PAUD Nadilah masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh peran guru dalam menerapkan strategi dan metode mangajar guru yang masih konvensional saat pembelajaran. Oleh karenanya diperlukan strategi atau metode permainan yang tepat untuk bisa mengajak anak menjadi fokus dalam memperhatikan guru dalam kegiatan belajar.  Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan R&D. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat penulis simpulkan bahwa   Proses penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran Papan Pintar Angka (Papinka) terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun anak usia dini di Desa Padang Guci Hilir telah menghasilkan sebuah produk yang telah divalidasikan dan sudah dinilai oleh para ahli dan sudah memperoleh kategori sangat baik oleh ahli guru praktik. Dan sehingga dapat disimpulkan produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini sudah layak untuk digunakan. Pengembangan media ini sangat baik sesudah anak melakukan atau diberikan kegiatan bermain Papan Pintar Angka (Papinka)  ini oleh peneliti anak-anak diberikan sebuah media pembelajaran ini anak-anak dapat bersosial, berinteraksi dan dapat melatih kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun anak dan disana dapat kita lihat bahwasanya anak sudah terlihat baik dalam melakukan permainan Papan Pintar Angka (Papinka)  terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahunnya dan disana didalam pre-test anak mendapatkan pengembangan dengan nilai 32,28 % dalam kategori Mulai Berkembang sedangkan hasil dari post-testnya anak mendapatkan pengembangan dengan nilai 82,85 % dapat kita simpulkan bahwasanya permainan ini sudah layak sekali digunakan dengan anak usia dini dalam pengembangan terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Berhitung, Media Pembelajaran, Papan Pintar Angka,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan pengembangan nilai-nilai kultur positif Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Pengembangan nilai-nilai kultur positif tersebut berupa nilai keimanan, semangat hidup, keterbukaan, kejujuran, spirit belajar, menyadari diri, tata krama,  persatuan dan kesatuan, nilai sikap, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kebersamaan. Permasalahannya bagaimana Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini mengembangkan nilai-nilai kultur positif tersebut?. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan naturalistik. Data yang diteliti adalah data pengembangan nilai-nilai kultur positif  pada tiga (3) Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini terakreditasi A di Bengkulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis domain, taksonomi, komponensial, dan analisis tema kultural yang mengacu pada buku Spradley. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwa bentuk dan cara Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini melakukan pengembangan niali-nilai kultur positif berupa: nilai keimanan, semangat hidup, keterbukaan, kejujuran, spirit belajar, menyadari diri, tata krama,  persatuan dan kesatuan, nilai sikap, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kebersamaan. Pengembangan nilai-nilai ini dibungkus dan diterapkan oleh siswa dan guru di lingkungan sekolah, sehingga membuat sekolah bercirikan Islami ini maju dan berkembang dan dicintai oleh masyarakat. Kata kunci: Pengembangan Nilai-nilai
