Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan cara pandang seniman tentang nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan upaya seniman dalam membangun nasionalisme yang dikaji menggunakan teori konstruksi sosial menurut Berger dan Luckman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipan. Observasi digunakan untuk mengamati nilai identitas nasional dan kegiatan seniman di sanggar. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan secara sistematis untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai nilai persatuan dan kesatuan, kebebasan, kesamaan, dan prestasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan empat tahapan meliputi pengumpulan data, reduki data, penyajian data, dan penarikan keimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama, seniman di Sanggar Sayap Jendela memiliki pandangan tentang nilai-nilai nasionalisme meliputi nilai persatuan dan kesatuan, nilai kebebasan, nilai kesamaan, dan nilai prestasi yang menunjukkan kecintaan terhadap bangsa Indonesia dibuktikan melalui sikap dan tindakan, tindakan diwujudkan dengan melestarikan karya seni dan sikap saling bahu membahu antar anggota seniman hal ini masuk dalam fase internalisasi. Kedua, upaya seniman dalam membangun nasionalisme yang diwujudkan berupa pertunjukan seni berdasarkan kekreatifan seniman sesuai bidang seni yang digeluti dengan mengusung tema-tema nasionalisme dan dibuktikan dengan identitas yang digunakan seperti baju yang dipakai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun pada saat pentas, aksesoris, dan gaya berbusana seperti model baju dan model rambut yang termasuk fase objektivasi dan ekternalisasi. Teori konstruksi Berger dan Luckman mempertegas penelitian ini dapat dilihat melalui tahap internalisasi, objektivasi, dan eksternalisasi. Kata Kunci: Konstruksi, Nasionalisme, Seniman. Abstract The purpose of this study is to explain the artists perspective on the values ​​of nationalism and the efforts of artists in developing nationalism which are studied using social construction theory according to Berger and Luckman. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participant observation. Observation is used to observe the value of national identity and artists activities in the studio. In-depth interviews were conducted systematically to collect data on the values ​​of unity and integrity, freedom, equality, and achievement. The data obtained were analyzed with four stages including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that, first, artists in the Sanggar Sayap Jendela have views on the values ​​of nationalism including the value of unity and unity, the value of freedom, the value of equality, and the value of achievement that shows love for the Indonesian nation is proven through attitudes and actions, actions are realized by preserving works of art and the mutual shoulder-to-shoulder attitude between members of the artist is included in the internalization phase. Secondly, artists efforts in building nationalism are manifested in the form of art performances based on the creativity of artists in accordance with the field of art that is carried on by carrying out the themes of nationalism and proven by identity used such as clothes worn in daily life as well as at the stage, accessories, and styles dress like clothes and hairstyles, which are objectivation and externalization. Berger and Luckmans construction theory confirms this research can be seen through the stages of internalization, objectivation, and externalization.Keywords: Construction, Nationalism, artists.
