Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of Sea Transportation Service (JPT) companies operating in the port of Tanjung Emas which lost their revenue for 6 months in a row, resulting in the revocation of their permits. The inability to compete in the form of low operational performance leads to a decrease in financial performance. Some researchers believe that innovation in logistics is the most effective way of increasing competitive advantage and firm performance in the logistics industry.Therefore, this study aims to analyze the relationship between innovation in logistics, operation performance, and financial performance and the factors that influence innovation is strategic action and knowledge management orientation. The data were obtained from a questionnaire filled by 178 Sea Management Services (JPT) companies operating in the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. Data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS software.The result of the statistical analysis shows that directly strategic action and innovation in logistics have a positive and significant effect on operational performance. Indirectly knowledge management orientation has a positive and significant effect on operational performance through innovation in logistic.

Abstract

Peningkatan kinerja organisasi publik, khususnya Bea dan Cukai (Direktorat Jederal Bea dan Cukai) di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor.Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi, yaitu variabel budaya organisasi, variabel partisipasi stakeholder, variabel teknologi informasi dan variabel transfer of knowledge serta menggunakan ukuran organisasi sebagai variabel kontrol.Berangkat dari permasalahan penelitian, yaitu bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja organisasi pada instansi Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai dengan memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi tersebut.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 107 responden dengan tingkat respon 100%.Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai DJBC yang berasal dari Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai(KPPBC) dan Kantor Pelayanan Utama (KPU) Bea dan Cukai se-Indonesia dan dianggap mewakili unit kerjanya masing-masing.Alat yang digunakan untuk menganalisis adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) pada program software AMOS 24.Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan SEM untuk model teoritis telah memenuhi goodness of fit, dengan nilai Chi Square = 195.916(tanpa variabel control)/213.185(dengan variabel control), CMIN/DF = 1.037(tanpa variabel control)/1.035(dengan variabel control), Probability= 0.350(tanpa variabel control)/0.351(dengan variabel control), GFI = 0.863(tanpa variabel control)/0.860(dengan variabel control), AGFI = 0.817(tanpa variabel control)/0.813(dengan variabel control), TLI = 0.994(tanpa variabel control)/0.993(dengan variabel control), CFI = 0.995(tanpa variabel control)/0.995(dengan variabel control), RMSEA = 0.019(tanpa variabel control)/0.018(dengan variabel control). Dari empat hipotesis yang diuji, semua hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. Transfer of knowledge, teknologi informasi, dan partisipasi stakeholder berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi pada α=5%, sementara budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan signifikansi α=10%. Selain itu, ukuran organisasi sebagai variabel kontrol juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi.

Abstract

Inovasi pada UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) kerajinan seni gerabah di Kasongan Kabupaten Bantul tentu dapat meningkatkan dari segi kinerja bisnis UKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja bisnis yaitu variabel orientasi pelanggan, variabel orientasi pesaing, variabel orientasi teknologi dan variabel inovasi sebagai intervening. Berangkat dari permasalahan penelitian yaitu bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja bisnis melalui inovasi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi inovasi yaitu orientasi pelanggan, orientasi pesaing dan orientasi teknologi.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 130 responden terdapat 10 responden tidak bersedia untuk mengembalikan kuisioner yang sudah di jawab dengan batas waktu ketentuan pengembalian dari peneliti. Maka penelitian ini menghasilkan responden ahir sebanyak 120 responden akan tetapi terdapat beberapa kuisioner yang tidak terjawab sepenuhnya. Sehingga hasil ahir yang dapat di analisis sebanyak 110 responden. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dimana purposive sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pemilik UKM kerajinan seni gerabah diKasongan Kabupaten Bantul.Alat yang digunakan untuk menganalisis adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini terdapat empat hipotesis diteriama dari ketujuh hipotesis penelitian. Adapun faktor-faktor yang signifikan memengaruhi inovasi yaitu orientasi pesaing dan orientasi teknologi dan faktor yang mempengaruhi secara langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis yaitu inovasi dan orientasi teknologi.

Abstract

Productivity is one of benchmarks to determine the development of a company. This study aimed to analyze work measurement help to optimize productivity in Ayasy snack and bakery. Sample in this study, four products that are most often ordered by the customers of Ayasy snack and bakery. The analytical method used is time and motion study. The results of the analysis technique of time and motion study, shows that productivity can be improved by determining the standard time and job design in improving efficiency. Using time study, result of standard time can increase productivity by 106%. Motion study techniques also increased productivity up to 3.10% when company implemented the proposed method in process chart. Productivity can be increased by continuously improving methods of work , the layout and optimize the equipment capacity of Ayasy snack and bakery.

Abstract

This study aimed to verify the effect of Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (OEOI), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Net Open Position in Foreign Exchange (NOPFE) of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The writer used the secondary data which comes from the financial statements of the Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD), published by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), in the period of 2012 to 2015. The writer also used a purposive sampling as the method of the study with the provisions that the bank has a complete financial data which relevance to the variables, there are total 8 samplings from 26 Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD). The analysis tool used the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, T-Test statistical and F-Test statistical. The result of the study shows that there is no deviation of classical assumption, indicating that the available data has been qualified to be used as the multiple linear regression model. Based on the result of the regression testing, the writer obtained a regression equation: CAR = 10,450 + 3,729 NPL – 4,171 OIOE – 1,846 LDR – 1,823 NOPFE. The hypothesis testing the writer concluded that: Non-Performing Loans (NPL) has significant positive effect on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (OIOE) has significant negative effect on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Net Open Position in Foreign Exchange (NOPFE) has no effect on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The value of Adusted R Square is 19.8 % , this means that the amount of influence exerted by variables Non Performing Loans (NPL), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (OIOE), Loan to Deposits Ratio (LDR), and Net Open Position in Foreign Exchange (NOPFE) to the changes that occur in the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) is 19.8 % , while the 80,2% is explaining by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) toward managerial performance. With the increasingly widespread use of TQM in the business world, many companies grow rapidly and be able to compete in the market. According to Gaspersz, TQM is defined as a way of improving performance continuously (continuous performance improvement) at each level of operations or processes, in all functional areas of an organization with the use of all human and capital resources available.This study was conducted using a survey of middle-class manager at PT. Arisamandiri Pratama, a manufacturing company, and then analyzed using regression analysis. This study analyzed whether there was an effect on customer focus, obsession toward quality, teamwork, and employee involvement and empowerment on managerial performance.The results showed that the only variable which shows significant positive effect is the teamwork variable, while the other variables had no significant effect. In a manufacturing company, teamwork is the subject of work in order to ensure the company's production levels maintained, and even able to increase. With manager closeness to one another, their task can be solved immediately. While focusing on customers which actually gave negative effect rejected because PT. Arisamandiri Pratama’s most of the activities are just assembling the items ordered from other companies. They only get orders from other companies to manufacture goods. Therefore, the company may not pay much attention to customers and better kept focusing on production activities.

Abstract

PT Sepatu Bata Tbk has decreased sales which can affect the brand image of company. Brand image is one of the factors that form the brand equity and can give a description of consumer perceptions of a brand. Every company is required to conduct marketing activities whose main purpose is to influence consumer perception on brand, build brand image in the mind of consumer so that later will have an impact on sales increase, and can maximize market share in accordance with company expectation.The purpose of this study to analyze product quality and promotion on brand image and the impact on purchase decision. The population of the study was all consumers who had ever done purchase transaction on bata shoes product, where respondents are Semarang  people.  The  samples  in  this  study  were  130  respondents.  The  method  of collecting data through questionnaires. This study uses analytical techniques of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 22.0 as the analysis instrument.The result show that the product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image, promotion has a positive and significant effect on brand image, brand image has a positive and  significant effect on purchase decision, product quality has  not a positive impact on purchase decision, and promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisio.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze customer sensitivity to supply chain agility, analyze sourcing flexibility to supply chain agility, supply chain agility to company performance, customer sensitivity to company performance, and sourcing flexibility to company performance.The population used in this study were all creative culinary industry SMEs, where the respondents were people in the city of Semarang. The number of samples used was 117 respondents. The method of collecting data through a questionnaire. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques using AMOS 22.0 analysis tools.The results of this study indicate that customer sensitivity has a positive and significant effect on supply chain agility, sourcing flexibility has a positive and significant effect on supply chain agility, supply chain agility has no positive effect on company performance, customer sensitivity has a positive and significant effect on company performance, and sourcing flexibility positive and significant effect on company performance. The theoretical implications of this research reinforce the theories that have been developed from previous research. The managerial implications of this study suggest that the creative culinary industry in Semarang City find out and respond to real customer desires, and build good relationships with raw material suppliers.

Abstract

Logistics so far  is the science which should be able to special attention. Because good logistics  will support a business performance of the effectiveness and efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of suppliers logistics performance to business performance, case studies at AHASS workshop in Semarang. Suppliers Logistics performance in this research represented by transportation , distribution center location , and inventory variable.  the results of the analysis shows that the transportation and inventory have a positive and significant influence to business performance.While the distribution center location  have not  significant influence to business performance.

Abstract

The establishment of interesting attractions is one way that can be done to increase the number of visitors or tourists with attention to the quality of the services provided such as building, cleaning, and security. This research was conducted that analyze whether service quality and customer satisfaction have an influence on visit intention the tourists go to the Widuri beach.In this study, the sample size used was 143 respondents. Respondents used is that ever visited the Widuri beach more than once. Data analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The analysis results the environment and services have significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction, accessibility have negative effect on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction have significant and positive effect on the visit intention.
