Abstract

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dari kegiatan pembelajaran praktik di lembaga pendidikan. Kegiatan selama ini telah berlangsung dengan rutin dan baik, tetapi terdapat beberapa faktor keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang seharusnya lebih diutamakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika FT UNY tentang K3 pada pembelajaran praktik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat non-eksperimental dengan metode pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika Fakultas Teknik UNY pada bulan Februari sampai Juni 2018.Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai K3 pada pembelajaran praktik di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika sudah baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dipertahankan karena banyak adanya potensi bahaya yang timbul akibat situasi dan kondisi laboratorium dan bengkel. Hal ini perlu adanya tinjauan secara mendalam tentang bagaimana pentingnya penerapan K3 pada saat praktik berlangsung oleh dosen yang mengajar praktik di Prodi Teknik Pendidikan Elektronika dengan memberikan pengetahuan yang lebih mengenai pentingnya penerapan atau pengimplementasian K3 pada saat pembelajaran praktik tersebut berlangsung.

Abstract

This paper discusses the realization of vital sign monitoring devices and knowing their performance. This device is expected to assist medical personnel in measuring and monitoring vital signs without having to have physical contact with patients. The design phase of the patient's vital sign monitoring device with an Arduino Mega-based wireless sensor starts from the identification, needs analysis, design, manufacture, troubleshoot, and testing. Arduino Mega and ESP8266 as the main components that function for the controller and upload data to the server. Then MAX30100, DS18B20, and MPX5700AP sensors which function to detect the vital sign. Android smartphones are used to display measurement results in real-time, save and display vital sign data records. Based on the test results, the patient's vital signs monitoring device has an average difference of 0.67% for temperature checks, 1.19% for pulse checks, 0.77% for SPO2 examinations, 4.78%, and 8.91% for systolic and diastolic blood pressure examinations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman sistem kendali PLC antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan siswa yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi, (2) pengaruh interaksi antara metode PBL dan metode demonstrasi dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (3) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi ditinjau dari motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial yang dilakukan dengan memberikan perlakuan metode pembelajaran. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t dan ANAVA dengan program SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi, (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode PBL dan demonstrasi dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, (3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi ditinjau dari motivasi tinggi dan rendah. THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES SEEN FROM MOTIVATION ON THE SUBJECT MATTER OF PLC IN SMKAbstractThis study aimed to determine: (1) the difference in learning outcomes in the subject of PLC control system programming between the students taught using the PBL method and those taught using the demonstration method, (2) the effect of the interaction among the PBL method and demonstration learning method with motivation on the learning outcomes, (3) difference in students’ learning outcomes between the students taught using the PBL method and those taught using the demonstration learning method in terms of motivation to learn. This study was a quasiexperimental study with a factorial design done by giving treatment in learning methods. The techniques of data analysis were T test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) with SPSS 16. The results show that: (1) there is a difference in learning outcomes between the students taught using the PBL method compared to those taught using the demonstration learning method, (2) there is no interactional effect between PBL and demonstration learning methods with motivation on the students’ learning outcome, (3) there is a difference in the learning outcome between students taught using the PBL method and those taught using the demonstration learning method in terms of students with high and low motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan trainer Internet of Things untuk mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan teknik Informatika dan menilai kelayakan trainer Internet of Things untuk mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan teknik Informatika. Pada trainer yang dikembangkan, aplikasi trainer Internet of Things digunakan untuk kendali jarak jauh menggunakan internet. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian RD karena hasil penelitian berorientasi pada produk yang berupa trainer dan modul pendamping. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan yang terdiri dari analisis, desain, implementasi dan evaluasi, dimana letak evaluasi dan revisi berada pada setiap tahapan. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket yang memiliki rentang nilai 1 s.d. 4. Perolehan nilai angket selanjutnya dikonversi untuk mengetahui kategori kelayakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kelayakan media trainer Internet of things secara umum memperoleh nilai 3,33 yang diintrepetasikan dalam kategori Sangat Baik dan diperoleh beberapa masukan yang telah diperbaiki. Nilai kelayakan yang dapat diintrepetasikan sangat baik pada trainer Internet of Things menunjukkan bahwa trainer ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran dikelas.

Abstract

This paper discusses the evaluation of the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in student industrial internships. Due to the possibility of the risk of work accidents on industrial internship students are prone to occur. Currently, there are still few who discuss the evaluation of OHS implementation as the basis for carrying out sustainable action efforts. Based on the evaluation carried out, the OHS Implementation in Electronics Engineering Education's Student Industrial Internship has been feasible and follows applicable laws and regulations. The results of this evaluation can provide ideas for increasing sustainable action efforts regarding OHS in Student Industrial Internships.

Abstract

Temperature and humidity have an important role in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms to obtain optimal growth of oyster mushrooms. The optimum temperature required ranges from 24 ° C - 27 ° C and 80% - 90% humidity. The watering of mushroom kumbung should be done regularly, in order to maintain the temperature and humidity of the surrounding air, then conducted research that aims to create a tool that can regulate the temperature and humidity kumbung mushrooms automatically to facilitate farmers keep the temperature and humidity stability continuously. This automatic adjustment system uses DHT-11 sensors as air and humidity and arduino uno gauges as tool controls. Tests conducted for 7 days with data collection in the morning at 06:00 AM, noon at 12:00 PM and afternoon at 4:00 PM. The test results prove that this system of temperature and humidity regulator can keep the stability of room temperature and humidity with an average 25°C of room temperature and 60% of humidity with set point temperature at 27°C and 55% of humidity.
