Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Islamic education in the style of Kiai Haji (K.H.) Asnawi in the social changes of Banten society in 1870-1945, where the focus of the discussion is to compare people's lives before and after getting the influence of Islamic education from K.H. Asnawi. This study also seeks to provide theoretical benefits in the form of knowledge contributions regarding the history of education in Banten and practical benefits by making readers aware of the importance of Islamic education for the people of Banten. This research used historical methods consisting of topic selection, source collection, source criticism, interpretation, and writing. The results showed that the Islamic education of K.H. Asnawi positively impacted the people of Banten in the form of religious life following the Qadiriyahwa Naqsabandiyah Order and encouraging resistance to the Dutch

Abstract

Pramuka or Praja Muda Karana is a scouting organization in Indonesia. Pramuka is one of the extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Pontang. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of Pramuka extracurricular activities during the pandemic in terms of achieving the goals that have been set both in the work program and national consensus. This study took place at SMAN 1 Pontang where data collection used interviews and observations and compared the data obtained with the relevant literature, the data that had been collected was analyzed by inductive analysis and validated by data triangulation. This research is also intended to measure the effectiveness of Pramuka extracurricular management at SMAN 1 Pontang in carrying out various programs during the pandemic. The research results show that the pandemic has affected many aspects of life. The implementation of extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Pontang was also affected. Nevertheless, Pramuka extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Pontang are still going well. The activities are carried out online through the Zoom Meeting application. After the pandemic subsided, Pramuka was held offline again.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pemanfaatan reenactment dalam edukasi sejarah publik dan pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah. Reenactment merupakan kegiatan “mereka ulang” peristiwa bersejarah semirip mungkin dengan aturan tertentu yang kompleks dimana kegiatan ini memiliki kemiripan dengan metode belajar role play atau bermain peran. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu studi literatur, studi kasus dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data. Adapun sumber informasi yang didapatkan lewat wawancara didapatkan dari berbagai pihak yang telah lama berkecimpung dalam dunia reenactment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak manfaat dan hambatan atau kekurangan dalam pemanfaatan unsur reenactment dalam pembelajaran sejarah publlik dan pendidikan sejarah di sekolah. Kata Kunci: reenactment, sejarah publik, pelajaran sejarah

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the role of the militia movement in a bloody incident in Tangerang Regency known as the Tangerang Incident in 1946. To achieve this goal, this study utilizes historical research methods and relevant theories to understand events through found historical sources. Historical sources used are oral and written. Based on the time when these historical sources were produced, these historical sources are subdivided into primary historical sources in the form of contemporary books, archives, photographs and newspapers. While secondary historical sources are interviews, relevant books and research. Based on the research results, Tangerang Regency is a multi-ethnic area where these conditions are prone to inter-ethnic riots, inter-ethnic conflicts have often occurred in this area since 1913 and relations between communities are getting worse. In a chaotic situation, militia groups emerged which were built on the interests of certain ethnic groups that were mutually hostile to one another, the group eventually committed an inhumane act known as the 1946 Tangerang Incident. This incident lasted for nearly two months between 1 June 1946 and July 15, 1946 where this incident claimed hundreds of lives through acts of robbery, murder and arson. even categorized as one of the bloodiest events of that era.
