Abstract

Coronavirus first appeared in China. The coronavirus spread rapidly and swiftly became a global pandemic. The mortality rate of this disease is known to be related to the pathobiological processes that occur and the increased pro-oxidant response. Antioxidants are required to maintain the balance of processes that occur in the body. Al-Quran and Hadith mention several food ingredients that have the potential as antioxidants. The literature review of published journals spanning 2010–2020 was reviewed with the topic of information related to the antioxidant potential of food ingredients in the Al-Quran and Hadith on the inflammatory process of COVID-19.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an infectious disease that generally occurs in tropical and subtropical countries caused by female mosquito vectors that transmit the virus through Aedes aegypti or Aedes albopictus. This research is supported by data obtained through the West Java Health Office, the incidence of DHF has increased, especially in adults. This study aims to determine and analyze the correlation between Hematocrit levels and SGOT and SGPT in adult DHF patients at Salak Hospital, Bogor City in 2022. This study uses a type of quantitative research and cross-sectional design and a retrospective approach. The data used in this study is secondary data from the medical records of adult DHF patients at Salak Hospital, Bogor City in 2022. The minimum number of samples required is 106 samples. The mean age of the sample as a whole is 30.99 ± 11.949 years with the largest age group being 18 - 45 years, which is 84%. With an overview of SGOT and SGPT levels increased by 77.3% in the SGOT examination parameters and SGPT levels increased by 63.2%. There was no significant correlation between Hematocrit and SGOT in adult DHF (r = 0.078, p = 0.426) and Hematocrit and SGPT in adult DHF (r = 0.100, p = 0.307).
