Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) unsur novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) Karya Veronica Widyastuti; (2) nilai edukatif yang terkandung dalam novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) Karya Veronica Widyastuti; dan (3) relevansi novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) Karya Veronica Widyastuti terhadap materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia untuk SMP kelas VII. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah strukturalisme genetik. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dan menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) terdapat unsur-unsur novel yaitu 1) Tema, 2) Alur, 3) Tokoh dan 4) Latar. Nilai edukatif yang terdapat dalam novel yaitu: 1) Nilai Religius, 2) Nilai Nasionalis, 3) Nilai Integritas, 4) Nilai Mandiri, dan 5) Nilai Kegotongroyongan. Kelayalan novel Naura & Genk Juara (the adventure begins) sebagai materi ajar ditinjau berdasarkan aspek kebahasaan, psikologis siswa, latar belakang sosial budaya siswa, nilai atau amanat dalam novel dan keberagaman dalam novel. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai nilai-nilai edukatif yang terdapat dalam novel sehingga dapat menumbuhkan literasi kritis dan sebagai relevansi materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia SMP kelas VII. Kata kunci: nilai edukatif, novel, literasi kritis, materi ajar ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the novel elements of Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) by Veronica Widyastuti; (2) educational value in the novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) by Veronica Widyastuti; and (3) the relevance of the novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) by Veronica Widyastuti to Indonesian Language teaching materials for seventh grade junior high school. The approach used in this research is genetic structuralism. The method used is content analysis with the use of reading and note-taking technique. The approach is used to study the educational value in the novel Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) by Veronica Widyastuti as the relevance of Indonesian language teaching materials for seventh grade junior high school. The results showed that Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) has the elements of the novel, namely 1) Theme, 2) Plot, 3) Characters, and 4) Background. Educational values contained in the novel are: 1) Religious Values, 2) Nationalism Values, 3) Integrity Values, 4) Self-Reliance Values, and 5) Mutual Values. The Feasibility of Naura & Genk Juara (The Adventure Begins) as teaching material is reviewed based on aspects of language, students’ psychological aspects, students' socio-cultural background, values or messages in the novel, and diversity in the novel. The results of this study are expected to increase the knowledge of educational values contained in the novel in order to foster students’ critical literacy and as the relevance of Indonesian Language teaching material for seventh grade junior high school. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Menemukan permasalahan dan kebutuhan siswa tunawicara, perencanaan, dan prototype media pembelajaran ekspresi lisan sastra berbasis gesture language yang dapat dikembangkan di kelas inklusif, (2) Mengembangkan prototype (draf) media pembelajaran ekspresi lisan sastra berbasis gesture language bagi siswa tunawicara di kelas inklusif, dan (3) Menguji keefektivan penerapan media pembelajaran ekspresi lisan sastra berbasis gesture language bagi siswa tunawicara di kelas inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development (R&D) yang dilakukan dengan lima tahap. Sebagai sebuah produk pengembangan, produk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berpotensi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran ekspresi lisan sastra berbasis gesture language bagi siswa tunawicara.

Abstract

Objectives to be achieved in this study were (1) Finding the problems and needs of blind students, planning, and prototype book enriching appreciation of literature in Braille that can be developed in school inclusion. (2) Develop prototype (draft) enrichment of literary appreciation books in Braille for blind students in school inclusion. (3) Test the effectiveness of the application of the enrichment of literary appreciation books of the validator in Braille for blind students in school inclusion. The method in this study research design development. The subjects were blind students who will use the product of the enrichment books and Indonesian language and literature teacher who will conduct an assessment of the indicators of achievement of the basic competencies of students with visual impairment. Plan activities that have been carried out in this research is the development of book design enrichment phases: (1) a preliminary study; (2) the development stage; (3) the testing stage book; (4) dissemination of the results of the final product, namely enrichment of literary appreciation books in Braille. The final product in the form of books enrichment appreciation of literature in Braille can be used by blind students in inclusive classrooms.
