Abstract

The author conducted a study on the effectiveness of the application of leadership styles to increase employee motivation in Rutan Class IIB Kebumen with the aim of conducting an in- depth analysis to be able to draw conclusions that how effective the application of leadership styles is to increase work motivation on employee performance and thus increase the discipline possessed by correctional employees. in the Class IIB Kebumen Rutan. This study aims to examine and analyze how the effect of compensation, professionalism and internal communication on the performance of the Class IIB State Detention Center employees in Kebumen Regency. The context of organizational success is the existence of a good relationship between leaders and employees. Where the relationship is influenced by his leadership style. Seeing the real facts that happened, there are many factors that influence the flow of the leadership process, the rest are facts or organizational dynamics that occur. This means that when a leader applies his leadership style or activity, it really depends on the pattern of the organization that surrounds him. Leadership style has a positive effect on employees' work motivation, which means that the leadership style in leading their subordinates is able to encourage employees to work better, it can be seen from the magnitude of the influence of leadership style on employee work motivation.
