Abstract

Madurese Islam is one of the cultural treasures of Islam in Indonesia. Madurese culture is intimately intertwined with Islam and reflects diverse perspectives on matters of politics, society, culture, and economics. The emergence of new media has resulted in the digitalization of Madurese Islam, exemplified by its presence on the Tretan Universe YouTube channel. The objective of this study is to provide a semiotic analysis of the Madurese Islamic da'wah content portrayed in the satirical comedy show "Dhe'remmah Cong" featured on the Tretan Universe YouTube channel. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach using the ethnography methodology. Data for this study was gathered through a combination of dialogue narratives and netizen comments obtained from two episodes of the "Dhe'remmah Cong" comedy series. The data was strengthened through literature studies and further analyzed using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotics. The findings indicated that the "Dhe'remmah Cong" comedy series served as a platform for cultural acculturation between Islam and Madurese culture. Thus, in the subsequent phase, the Madurese Islamic identity can be disseminated into a novel cultural sphere familiar to the Indonesian populace via this YouTube channel.Salah satu khasanah budaya lokal yang dimiliki Islam di Indonesia adalah Islam Madura. Nilai budaya Madura sangat dekat dengan Islam dan mengekspresikan berbagai sudut pandang isu politik, sosial, budaya, atau ekonomi. Perkembangan new media saat ini telah membawa Islam Madura ke dalam platform digital, salah satuya melalui channel Youtube Tretan Universe. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menjelaskan analisis semiotika dalam konten dakwah Islam Madura yang ditampilkan dalam komedi satir bertajuk 'Dhe’remmah Cong' di channel Youtube Tretan Universe.  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode netnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelusuran 2 (dua) seri komedi 'Dhe’remmah Cong' berupa narasi dialog dan komentar netizen. Data diperkuat melalui kajian pustaka dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa serial komedi ini menjadi ruang akulturasi budaya dalam Islam dan budaya Madura. Sehingga pada tahap selanjutnya, melalui channel youtube ini, identitas Islam Madura ini dapat menyebar menjadi budaya baru yang dikenal publik Indonesia.

Abstract

Frankincense commodities play an important role in agricultural commodity production in Humbang Hasudutan. Traditional processing has become a local wisdom that has been practiced for years. However, the threat of eroding customary forests and the lack of marketing are obstacles faced by farmers. The purpose of this research is to find out the communication of government policies in developing frankincense commodities. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results show that policy communication is able to encourage the effectiveness of frankincense agricultural development in Humbang. Policies regarding socialization to farmers to understand how the food estate program takes place, encourage community involvement in supporting the development plan. Efforts to create farmer welfare, encourage the strengthening of farmer organizations to be an important need in supporting the development of frankincense commodities. Strengthening the organization is considered capable of overcoming the problem of marketing difficulties of frankincense production from farmers.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid 19 menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan besar di semua sektor, termasuk pariwisata. Kegiatan pariwisata yang berkaitan dengan kunjungan langsung wisatawan ke objek wisata menjadi turun secara signifikan akibat adanya kebijakan pemerintah mengenai pembatasan sosial berskala besar. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berbasis digital menjadi salah satu cara pihak pengelola objek wisata dalam melakukan komunikasi pemasaran berbasis digital. Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan media digital sebagai bagian dari strategi digital marketing dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan ke objek wisata Tebing Breksi dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk analisis SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, thread). Sumber pengumpulan datanya adalah primer, yakni wawancara dengan pihak pengelola, dan sekunder melalui observasi di media sosial dan website resmi Tebing Breksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wisata Tebing Breksi memanfaatkan website, media sosial, dan aplikasi Visiting Yogyakarta sebagai media pemasaran digital, baik dalam bentuk informasi hingga reservasi. Pihak pengelola menggunakan teknik pemasaran digital seperti mengunggah gambar dan video di media sosial serta teknik story telling di website resmi, meskipun website ini jarang diperbaharui. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi ancaman dari pesaing- pesaing potensial mengingat Kawasan Wisata Tebing Breksi juga memiliki banyak objek wisata lain.

Abstract

Notes of the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI Indonesia) at the end of 2022, the number of digital attacks on journalists increased compared to 2021. There were 15 digital attacks in 2022, while in 2021, there were only 5 cases recorded. Attacks, or what is commonly referred to as digital violence, refer to the notion of violence in which the perpetrator attacks network infrastructure or uses digital technology. Meanwhile, digital attacks becoming a trend during 2022 are hacking experienced by journalists and DDoS targeted at media organization sites. However, not all mass media have prepared anticipation for the potential for digital violence, including not all journalists who understand cybersecurity's importance in carrying out their duties. This research seeks to explore the meaning of journalists related to cyber security in their journalistic work and to record real experiences of how anticipation and strategies are carried out so that they do not just become victims of cyber-attacks. The method used is qualitative with an interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA) approach. An approach where data is obtained and studied in an in-depth way, and sees each case is something that has its characteristics. The key word of this research lies in the technique of analysis and interpretation of data that is descriptive, which is presented using a distinctive language and does not aim to generalize the results. The research location is in the city of Semarang, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, surveys, observations, and documentation of the research subjects, in this case, journalists from various mass media in Central Java.
