Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-booklet, namely the Lemea Lebong electronic booklet as a learning medium for biotechnology material. This research method is research and development. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, interview guides and observation. The research instruments were observation sheets, needs analysis questionnaire sheets, teacher interview guides, student readability test questionnaires and expert validation sheets. Data analysis techniques are descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the Lemea Lebong e-booklet as a learning media for biotechnology materials for students was very feasible to use based on the results of the validation test. Student responses to the readability of the Lemea Lebong e-booklet as a medium for learning biotechnology material for students showed a very good category. In conclusion, the Lemea Lebong e-booklet as a learning medium for biotechnology material is suitable for science learning on biotechnology material. Keywords: E-booklet, Lebong, Lemea

Abstract

The Palak Siring Waterfall is a natural tourism object located in Kemumu Village, Armajaya District, North Bengkulu Regency were the area have variety of vegetation. This research aims to analyze the Terrestrial Fern Diversity in that area. The benefits of ferns in an ecosystem are as one of the pioneer organisms that open and start a new life in an ecosystem, food sources, and planting media. The method used is transect by forming (five) plots based on the slope of the land, consist of flat, sloping, rather steep, steep, and very steep areas. Plot size of 20 x 20 m placed along the transect line. Based on the survey was found 22 species with 13 types of family ferns in the Palak Siring Waterfall. The Diversity Index value of ferns (pteridophyta) belongs to the medium category. This certainly indicates that there is a fern that can adapt to the environment as well as other plants in area. Diversity of fern have the potential to be applied to junior high school science learning through several Basic competencies, materials, and forms of learning activities.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran IPA, beberapa bahan ajar yang digunakan di SMP bersifat teks book, belum dikemas secara terpadu dan animatif sehingga belum mendukung visualisasi konsep IPA dengan baik. Dari analisis masalah yang ada pada latar belakang maka dikembangkanlah bahan ajar berupa e-modul dengan book creator tema metabolisme tubuh. Tujun penelitian ini ialah menganalisis tingkat validasi e-modul dengan book creator tema metabolisme tubuh untuk membantu visualisasi konsep IPA peserta didik kelas VII SMP. Metode penelitian research & development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan yang meliputi bagian pendefinisian (define), bagian perancangan (design), dan bagian pengembangan (develop) sampai uji validasi ahli. Pada tahap develop instrumen yang digunakan pada uji validasi yakni lembar angket untuk validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli praktisi (guru IPA SMP). Dalam penelitian ini analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Total nilai persentase rata-rata keseluruhan dari tiga ahli materi, tiga ahli media, dan tiga ahli praktisi (guru IPA SMP) yakni 89,28% dalam kategori “sangat valid”. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka e-modul dengan book creator tema metabolisme tubuh untuk membantu visualisasi konsep ipa peserta didik kelas VII SMP dinyatakan sangat valid dapat diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran IPA.
