Abstract

Ternate is a city of islands, Ternate is very dependent on the mode of transport crossing that connects the islands in the vicinity. This port is felt more and more important and strategic because it provides an enormous impact on the growth and development of Ternate region because it serves as the entry and exit of goods and staples. Bastiong Ferry Port which is under the authority PT.ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Branch Ternate. Based on this analysis it was concluded that there are variables that are still lacking in the service of some ferry transport as not Information not available yet and Safety Facility that is easily visible and affordable form of fire extinguishers, manual evacuation routes, and emergency numbers, are not yet available information and existing health facilities but the unavailability of health workers, Waiting Room facilities are not well maintained and dirty, the facilities existing toilets smelling and dirty condition, the unavailability of Advanced Transport Information to users of services, not provided passenger service facilities, unavailability is the availability of a uniformed porter who have an identity and be easily visible, good condition and function makes it easy for passengers to carry luggage, the unavailability of facilities for passengers difable, The management though because it must complete the port operations and improving service facilities on Bastiong ferry ports in accordance with the benchmarks that have been required in the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 39 Of 2015 on Ferry Transport Passenger Service Standards.

Abstract

Waai Ferry Port is a port located in Waai Village, Central Maluku Regency which serves the Waai - Umeputih crossing. In terms of need, greatly affect the level of transportation services, especially in fulfilling public services. However, the prevailing fare are on the Waai route. Umeputih is now the when the track is still a pioneer route, not the that was applied when it became a commercial route. In addition, there is also a change in the Production Unit (SUP) in the type of vehicle class in accordance with Attachment I, Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 66 of 2019 concerning the Determination Mechanism and the Calculation Formulation of Ferries Transportation. The aims of this research are as follows: 1) To know the definition and unit system of ferries transportation. 2) Knowing the Fare on the Waai - Umeputih Line in Maluku Province in 2020. 3) Knowing the Fare on the Waai - Umeputih Line in Maluku Province in 2020. The research methodology used is direct field research, interview, literature / documentation and institutional. Then to analyze this based on Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 66 of 2019 concerning the Determination Mechanism and the Calculation Formulation of Ferries Transportation. The analysis used is load factor analysis, ship operational cost analysis, unit analysis and revenue analysis. The results of this study are 1) The Unit of Ferries Transportation which consists of the Passenger Transport and the for Vehicle and Their Cargo at the Ferry Port Based on the Applicable Regulations. 2) On the Waai - Umeputih Line in Maluku Province in 2020 is Irrelevant to Current Conditions, Due to Changes in Track Status and Changes in Production Unit (SUP) Units in the Management / Management System at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon Branch in 2020. 3) Evaluation of Ferries Transportation on the Waai - Umeputih Route in Maluku Province Changes according to the following provisions: a) If there is an increase in the unit at the new, the regional government of the Regent of Central Maluku can do The Highest Reduction With Differentiation of 20% (Twenty Percent) From The Determined. b)The increasing of a fare nowadays is following Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 66 of 2019 concerning the Determination Mechanism and the Calculation Formulation of Ferries Transportation that stated a fare of production nowadays has increasing previous fare.

Abstract

Narrowing the channel by landslides and silting in the mid-section channel Of Hantipan Canal, especially during the dry season some places even just an ankle of adults, it causes the boat must be pushed or lifted in order to be able to get to the destination and causing the motor boat forced to sail past the Sampit Bay the wave height reaches 1-3 meters, there are also obstacles such as wood left alone milestone along that channel. Local communities expect their dredging activities of Hantipan Canal in order to facilitate their primary access to the other areas so that the ship does not need to pass through The Sampit Bay and can reduce accidents caused by high waves in The Sampit Bay. Dredging activities is expected to make the traffic channel becomes more smoothly although at certain points must remain aware of the occurrence of sedimentation that can make the ship got stuck and foundered.Along with it, the river transport is felt increasingly important and strategic to the advancement and development of the region, then it should be able to be improved both in terms of facilities and infrastructure.
